    I got a call from this number. they said they are from nationwide student loan organization.

    Did you check out the company?  Nationwide Student Loan?  At a glance, I saw reviews that gave the company either very high or very low marks, and that makes me think you should dig deeper and be very careful.
    At least one post suggested that the company ran an advanced fee scam, asking for $800 processing fee that "would be applied to the loan". As it turned out, that money went right to Nationwide Student Loan.
