Was trying to call AT&T and accidentally called the wrong # thinking I had reached AT&T, the # should have been 800-616-1711 , not 676 it went strait to promotional wins and I redialed and must have # dyslexia because I really thought I got the # correct. I even asked if they were AT&T. They nether confirmed or denied that they were. I thought it was strange, all I wanted to do was pay my bill. It was a man and then a woman I talked to with foreign accents like India maybe. I fell for the crap and gave my DC # and like a stupid idiot my SS # I kept asking during the promotional whatever if this was AT&T, at 1st I told the man I just want to pay my bill and he said they were having problems with phone line and proceeded to push this promotional deal on me. I thought it was strange for my phone service to do this and it was very annoying. After it was all done I asked to be transferred to someone to pay my phone bill and the man said 1 moment I will transfer and then of course hung up. I told my husband right away and we called our bank right away and had my card cancelled. Now I just have to worry about my identity since they did not get our limited amount of money for our bills. I still can't believe I fell for this and it was only a couple of hours ago. I was so stupid to fall for this. I want to warn others who may be to trusting and dumb as I was. Don't fall for it. I did a search on the # and I only found 1 site saying that they make $ off of wrong #'s. Be warned, watch very carefully who you dial!
