We got a call from this number asking for many personal information. When I called back, A guy allegedly named Allen refused  to tell me the name of the business or any information about the company before I supply information.

somebody called me from unknown number, telling me that he was calling from Houston Medical Center, he called my name and say he just wanted to be sure that hecwas talking to a right person and I said yes, he said he wanted to verify my dofb and my address, then I asked him why he was calling me from unknown number and he said he can give me the coporate office number to call, I told him to hang up and call me with Unhidden number after all Houston Medical Center's number is a public number and why must they hide it to call people, he insisted to give me the number to call, I told him that that means I am not going to release my info unless I am sure of who is calling, I collected the number abs he hung up the phone, the number is (1-800-676-4330) I have an app on my phone called contractive, So! When I called this number the app on my phone brought out the name of the owner of the phone called (Kry) then I knew that the call was not from Houston Medical Center, he was a scammer I guess, So! Guys, vecareful don't just release your information to anybody unless you are sure of whom he/she is, be warned.

well i keep getting calls from them as well regarding a balance that they say i owe on my daughter's account. The insurance stated there was some confusion on the claim but that it should be taken care of. Again today i get a call and he's calling unknown and is pushy for a payment today. I told him I wasn't giving him any info until i verified things. I called the hospital my daughter was seen at and they stated they outsource to a MCS i believe to for balances owed...so its legit at least... now i can move forward with the insurance to get this settled. I feel better about it at least. :) good luck.

I think the voice mail message identified the company as Impass.  It was hard to understand.
I called because I have recently been released from hospital and they referenced the hospital by name.
The first question they asked was fishing for information, so I hung up.

Received a call on a cell number from them today, asking for personal information (DOB, address, etc).  Told them I would have to look them up online and call in to the official phone number.  Also asked if they were the "official rep for the hospital I visited (Sweedish in Denver), to which they said "yes".  Clearly they are not, based on the information I found.  Their company name is "NPAS", and they appear to be a collection company.  I logged into my hospital's portal for online payments, found my account to be in good standing, and no mention anywhere of this collection company.  They may not even be legit, and just phishing for info.

I also received a call from this company asking for verification of address, name and date of birth.  I told them I was very uncomfortable giving out this information without knowing why they were calling.  They gave me this number to call back.  This number is not listed on my health institutions billing and when I did call back, they did not identify themselves as my medical institution.  Pretty sure this is a SCAM!

Just had that same number call me. It showed up as unknown but he said this is there number (1800-676-4330) saying he worked for the collections dept of the hospital I recently visited. Asked if I could make a payment of $140...two days ago I talked to a lady that I called from the number on my hospital bill and she said the total of the bill was $106.

He kept asking me if I can make any payment at all today and I said no. At the end of the conversation I asked his name and he quickly said "umm..this is Joe" and hung up quickly.

They keep calling me, night and day, NPAS or Impass, is all they say, but for sure, it's a call center. I'm on the National do not call registry and use Mr. Number app, to remove calls I do not know. This number came up unknown on my cell phone. They finally left a voicemail, with the 1800 number to call back. I called back, they said their name and it's regarding a hospital  , I was at last year. They asked for my do and ss# and confirmation of my first, middle and last name. I only gave my name, the rest I said, sorry, don't give that to a call center. They told me to go to the "place" to find out more info. I told them, I will and to please stop calling my cell phone. They said, they will not stop calling and they hung up on me... so much for the do not call list.
