Caller asked for us by name, and asked us for any information on a (spelling uncertain, we don't know them) Stephen Caljamilla.  When we told the caller we didn't know the person, they said that they must have the wrong (said our last name) and apologized for bothering us.

They called my cell phone. When I picked up, it was a recorded message asking for someone (I didn't get the name but it's not me), if you are this person and want to speak with a live operator, press 1, if you are not this person but want to speak with a live operator, press 2.
So I hung up.

No Message Left.

Bothersome bill collectors calling for another person with same name, have had so many calls for this scumbag that we are changing our phone number & making it unlisted

Googled it, another site said that it was URS, United Recovery Services, would make sense, they have been calling me for weeks... anyway here are the rest of the numbers they have called me from:

I talked to them and told them I was willing to pay the entire amount owed but I would not do it over the phone, I wanted a bill in writing and I would mail it so I had proof I paid.  They told me they don't do that so I told them I wouldn't pay without something mailed or e-mailed to me.  They quit calling for a couple of weeks I never recieved anything in writing and now calling again.

Called my cell and asked for both of my parents. I asked what it was in regards to and they said they were unable to tell me. I then stated that they called my phone and if they were unable to tell me what was up, then I was unable to pass on their message.

These United Recovery ppl are very creepy and sneaky.  A few months ago, they called my friend's cell phone number and asked for me.  My friend, that I hadn't spoken to for months, asked how they got her number and what the call was regarding...they said that I had recently called them from her number(which is obviously a lie because I have never made a call from her cell, nor had I even seen her in months!)  They also "weren't able" to tell her the nature of the call.

Very weird... they must have some sort of cheating way to see who you know, where you've once lived, places you've been, your family members, etc.  Not cool at all.  :-/  

They've started calling me again recently but not leaving voicemails.

They are required to send notice to you within 5 days of initial contact. Send a certified, registered latter informing them that you dispute the debt and all communications from here on out are by mail only.

Comes up on my phone as UNITED DISCOVER for caller ID.  Never leave a message

Called, left no message.

Just received a call.  Didn't pickup since it was a 800 #.  :)
