Got a call from Rick Morgan at this number. Got it at work. I let it roll to voice mail, since I did not recognize the number. The number that showed up in my caller ID was in Omaha, and I don't know anyone there. It started something like, "Guys, sorry it has taken so long to get back to you, but I've been busy with a new program that just crossed my desk..." and then goes on to talk about reducing credit card rates to 1.5% and how I'm making minimum payments, etc. But I don't who the guy is, so I figured he called the wrong number. I called the number he left, hoping to help him route it to the right person, but I got an answering service. That person was hard to understand, but I gather that she was trying to sell me on a credit card negotiation. I shot this down. Anyway, FYI, probably some sort of telemarketing effort counting on people to do as I tried to do.

Got a voice message on my company cell phone this morning from a person calling himself Nick Morgan (no company identification) that sounded like the first part of the message had been cut off. Went on about me making - supposedly - minimum payments on my credit card, we should talk about this, and by the way, this was the last courtesy call. I should call 1-800-676-9314. Did not call back, because this is obviously a scam.

Got the same call- also went to voicemail. first part of the message was cut off. made a return call to the missed call number (402-982-0846) rather than the number left by mr. rick morgan. first option when i called this number was to be removed from the call list by pressing "1". i did so- good riddance.

Got an unsolicited robo call from (402-982-0846) aka Rick Morgan. Got it on my cell. I let it roll into voicemail, cause I did not know the number. The number that showed up on caller ID was in Omaha, NE.

Too bad I don't have any credit cards to make min payments on to even make this halfway legit.

I received the same call as all the others below. Rick Morgan, first part of the message also cut off 800-676-9314. How do I stop these unwanted calls and how do they get the cell phone numbers anyway.

I had a message from Rick Morgan on my cell phone today. Just like the above callers, the message sounded like it had been cut off and stated that he was sorry to have taken so long to get back to me. He said he checked into things and saw I was only making minimum payments and would be able to get me a 1.5% rate. Not sure what he was checking on but I am guessing credit cards. Funny thing, he stated he was getting back to me  but this was my last courtesy call so I must act now. He left the 1-800-676-9314 number. At first I thought it was a mistake and was going to call back and tell him he called the wrong number but then decided to check into the number first and am glad that I did not even bother.

We've gotten several calls from "Rick" -- identical messages as reported by others.  I ignored them at first, but they're getting really annoying.  I called 800-676-9314 and told them to remove our phone # from their list; they said they would.  BUT, we're still getting calls, so I called again and threatened to report them and the woman on the other end hung up on me!  Called back and asked if that's how they conduct business and again asked that our number be taken off their call list!  Got another call the next day.

Same as above.  Fishing for info.  Rick calling me to reduce my rates to 1.5%.  Called back and got Mary at ext 1305 who seemed annoyed when I asked questions inquiring the name of her company and website, drcnow.com.  She was insistant on immediately getting credit statement info.  When I told her I would call her back she hung up on me while I was still speaking.  Check BBB before doing any business with this "company".

Caller's name was Rick Morgan, wanted to be called back @ 1-800-676-9314, said this was my last chance to call him back.  Something about reducing my credit card rate to 1.5%.  Never had gotten a call from this person before, just started today.  Did not, nor will I ever call this number back !!!!!

he also stated it was his last courtasy call he could make...also the number called from can be mississippi

Got the same call with the same message as all the others. Called back and the phone was answered by "Norma". Obviously a scam, as we are a business and pay off credit cards in full every month.

rick morgan left the same exact message on my phone to. my caller id showed he called from a MS cell phone. but the number was disconected. so i called the # he gave on my phone 18006769714. a snotty lady answered and said rick morgan was unavailable. when i told her i knew it was a scam, she replied it wasnt. so i asked her why he called from a cell phone. she said he didnt then she quickly said have a nice day, and hung up.

Got the same calls from rick morgan. do u think he can go to prison for this?

Rick Morgan is leaving the 800 number for our business which is an insurance company in Massachusetts.  We have reported this to the Attorney Generals Office in Massachusetts. We are receiving 5/6 calls a day looking for Rick Morgan.  We tried to call him changing one of the digits of our number and reached a credit company.  They would not say where they are located but simply that Rick Morgan was not available.  They would not take any messages for him.

Received the exact same call today on my work phone while I was in a meeting.  He left 1-800-676-9314 as the call back number.  I did not call the number back, as his information was inaccurate.

I'm getting the same automated message from Rick Morgan each day (as if he really believes I think he's talking live.  The number on the caller id is 228-209-8325, and the voice mail asks me to call 800-676-9314.  Since my cell number is not that old (at least old enough to be on the "do not call" list), and I don't have a runnin credit card balance, I know the guy is full of it.  Seems like just another person ignoring the "do not call" list and fishing for marks.

I recieved the EXACT call from "Rick morgan". I was ticked by this rambling voice MSG considering I don't have cc debt and he was supposedly looking at my payment history. I called back to find out who had my number and how they got it. I got a snotty young woman that said Rick was unavailable. I asked for supervisor and got a voiemail with no name. CAlled again said I want the supervisors name. She said no. No and hung up on me. I'm contacting bbb.

Exactly the same as others have noted.  I never called back.  Interestingly, I recieved another call the same day for $3 per day healthcare.  I pressed 1 to hear more.  they asked for a credit card and when I said sorry... the caller hung up.  That phone # was (515) 369-5941.

Got the same scam call from Rick Morgan, whom I'd never heard of, talking as if we had a previous business relationship. Got this call at work and let it go to VM. I would like to know how to report this scammer to get this to stop. The "vehicle warranty expiring" calls to my cell phone last spring drove me crazy.

Just received a call on my personal cell phone (which is on the do not call list) from Rick Morgan also, with the same message....about my credit card debt, how I'm only making minimum payments and that he could cut my interest down to 1 1/2%.   And also the part about sorry it took so long to get back to me and the stuff that just came across his desk....yada yada yada.......trouble is, I don't own a credit card and have not had a credit card in 10 years.....SCAMMER to the max.  Glad I didn't answer as I didn't recognize the number and let it roll to voice mail.  I always check numbers before calling them back if I don't recognize them.  Glad I did.  Also, when I ran the number it shows that it came out of Mississippi.  Somehow, this jerk needs to be shut down.
