- Stu| 1 replyI am a private contractor with no staff or HR department.
Called the remove number to have mine removed and got an automated answer.
Rather than enter my number into another spam list, I decided to call the reply number.
The man answering hung up on me when I mentioned unsolicted faxes.
I called again. The same guy answered....and hung up on me again.
On the third call the same guy asked me if I was intoxicated.
I asked his name and requested to talk to his supervisor "Dan"
He asked if I was going to "tell on him" and I said "you're damn right"
I told him to remove my number from his call list. He said "OK" and hung up on me again. (I was calling from my cell-phone)
I called again and told him if he hung up on me again I would report his number to the FTC...I asked for his supervisor again and was treated to a very bad recording of some tropical music for about 10 seconds and then THE SAME GUY answered the phone again as "Dan".
I asked "Dan" why I was on his call list since I was not part of his or any other corporation. He claimed it was an error in the phone number and said he would take my number off the list after I threatened to report him to the FTC. This time he actually took my number.
DEFINITELY A SCAM.- Caller: Choose Cancun

- some guyJust got a fax faying to call this number and get on the "company's" great vacation plan. Considering my company has NO vacation plans for any employees besides PTO, it's faaaaaaaaaaaaaake.
I did get a laugh out of the last line though - "Unlimited non-motor watersports" - I guess it's the vulgar side of me imagining horrible things happening in paddleboats, heh.
Anyway, DON'T CALL THEIR NUMBERS. Most likely a phishing scheme.- Caller: scam "travel" company

- These ppl should be stonedJust got the same fax and of course knew it was a scam. It really sucks that these ppl get so many Americans with these scams all the time.

- RBI just received a "MEMO" fax from "CHOOSE CANCUN" offering the $361 Cancun Mexico trip. They answer the phone "employee reservations".
I called the 800-611-4617 to automatically remove my number. Then I called the 800-724-4107 to ask to speak to a manager to remove my number. They hung up on me and when I called back they gave me to a manager and when I asked him for his name three times, he muffled his name so I could'nt hear him.
I asked him to remove my number since they have sent a vacation fax 5 times. I said they were faxing to a home and to stop it.
