Who are these folks who call every day?

I have been getting calls from them everyday as well. They are debt settlement company, not a collections office. I finally answered and they helped me settle my mortgage for pennies on the dollar. I guess there still are a few good guys out there.

It sounds like Lucky works for these jerks.

I got a message from these folks last night looking for someone with the name Colleen Seamans.  Since my wife is Colleen and I am Seamus, I thought it was an error on the name and called them.  Spoke with a gent named Eric who could not find our file under my actual last name.  Looked up our phone number which showed an actual Colleen Seamans at a different address.  He was very polite.  Apologized and took our number off their call list.  

I definitly don't work for thses folks but the record should show that at least this rep, Eric, has very professional.  Now let's see if my number actually comes off their list.

These people call every day.  Leave a message for someone who has never been at this number.  We have had this phone number for 32 years.  Called back, told them to take this number off.  They still call. Jerks!

This company leaves recorded messages every day; I called them back and spoke to one of the representatives and the first thing they ask is for the last four numbers of your SSN.  BEWARE THIS COMPANY LOOKS LIKE CROOKS.....

Looks to me like you work for this company.

They call several times daily for someone who never had this phone number (just like for
the other poster here)!  They have been told to take this number off their list.  
They said they would, but they continue to call - including VERY early in the morning and
wake up the household!  I personally think it is a phone phishing scam like email scams
where they try and get information out of you to steal identities or something. They need to be fined!
