Ha ha -- Ludicrous! This is a classic sucker's racket, though it may not rise to the level of a true scam. If you are titillated by enticing Prize Entry Notifications, congratulations for having the good sense to look online for information about this phony "Sweepstakes." You'll be wise to avoid ANYTHING that says STRIKE IT RICH...YOU MAY ALREADY BE A WINNER...or THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE!!! Take a deep breath. Nobody contacts you out of the blue to give you riches for free. The reason I say it isn't exactly a "scam" is that they really are trying to get you to buy magazines. And please read the EXACT language in their silly Award Notification. It's good practice, reading a LOUSY offer. They never actually promise you money. Don't waste your time or money on them. The only good use for letters like this is kindling, or teaching kids & other new English students how to recognize ornate but meaningless B.S. -- knowledge which will be especially helpful when trying to comprehend the speeches of politicians! Good luck.

No experience with these people because I don't interact with them. But I feel bad because they are so mean. I know they aren't going to send me any money, THEY know they aren't going to send me any money, but it is such a mean thing to do - get people's hopes up....then, nothing. And trust me: I could use the money. Phooey.
