    UNKNOWN
RECEIVING BACK TO BACK CALLS FROM "UNKNOWN CALLER" NO MESSAGES LEFT. AFTER SEVERAL DAYS OF RECEIVING THESE CALLS A MESSAGE W/# 800-721-9789 NUMBER FROM CHRISTOPHER RANIERI'S OFFICE. INVESTIGATING WHO THIS IS: To our knowledge, no Rent-a-Lawyer in the MacKinnon Clan has come under more scrutiny than
The Law Office of Christopher Ranieri
    Christopher M. Ranieri, Rent-A-Lawyer, Bar #127760
    4585 140th Ave. N., #1002
    Clearwater, FL 33762
    Phone: (727) 507-7689
Christopher Ranieri has deep pockets and pays on law suits rather than attempt to build a straw man in court with bogus documents.
Ranieri pretends, through his rent-a-lawyer status to be a separate party: the of counsel to his client First American Holdings.  But the flowchart and the deep Lenahan/MacKinnon history may tell a different story.  He appears to benefit from First American Investment or Account Management Services of both, and no doubt has interest in several of the other operations MacKinnon and Bohn are running.  Before you give them a single dime, you should make demand for all documentation that validates their claim.  If First American Holdings is not party to the original contract, we suggest you contact a consumer law professional ( a real lawyer) like those at www.naca.net  before proceeding.  Tell them Bud Hibbs sent you.

I was called by Ranieri on (Tuesday).  They stated that I owed a $250 bill to a payday advance company (quickpay).  She wanted me to "take care of this immediately or it will be placed in court on Thursday.  (this took place on Tuesday).  I responded that I was not aware that I did any business with QuickPay.  I requested that they send me the information so I can validate that I own this bill.  Her response was very cold and angry:  EIther you pay now by phone or it goes to court on Thursday...Credit card number please?.....
I informed her that I would not give her any credit card number  on the phone anyway.  Again I repeated my request to send me documentation.  She responded:  "Well obviously, you don't care about your credit so there is nothing more to say! We'll see you in court!"  She then hung up.  Can I expect to get a summons or are these people full of it?

I received the same exact call today!  Almost verbatim wording.  They said that it was "past the point of collections" and they were sending it to court on Monday.  I told them I was recording the call and that I wanted it stated that I have no idea what the debt was for or who the company was with.  I asked for something in writing and she refused then said "you can have it in writing when we see you in court" then hung up on me.  I called them back, told them I was recording the call once again and I was formally requesting something in writing as I have no idea what it was about.  She put me on with a supervisor who I promptly told I was recording the call and that I know my rights as a consumer and by FDCPA law they have to send me something in writing within 5 days of initial contact.  I told her I expect I will be getting something from them this week.  She said she would get something out to me and hung up.  Further investigation shows he is a scumbag lawyer who more often than not, does not sue but has people suing him for violating their consumer rights.  www.budhibbs.com and search on Christopher Ranieri.

I got a call a little bit ago on my direct line at work, asking for the fax number so she (Miss Speights) could fax her application to the personnel department.  I gave the fax number and lo and behold, a fax came through from the law office of Christopher Ranieri looking for employment verification on me, salary, if there were any garnishments to my pay, date of hire, current address and phone number.  I wrote that we do not divulge that information without a signed release from the employee and they could either obtain the information directly or submit a signed release.  I didn't even know it was legal for them to do this!!

I never got anything in the mail as they stated they would and haven't heard back from them until today when I checked my caller id and low and behold they are on it.  They didn't leave a message.  So they are already in one federal violation of my rights.  They have to send me something within 5 days of initial contact, to which they did not.  Kim, check them out on www.budhibbs.com.  Looks like they normally practice illegal acts.

I have been dealing with these people for a year and a half. Like a fool I have been lied to  -- first I was told that I was paying on two acc. and six months latter I got hit by Mendez with all the treats. Now it's time to renew payment with them and I got a letter in the mail and not all payments are credited. By the way I was told that all charges and interest would stop now it was in collection. Today I called and demanded a statement from them, I want to know what they've done with my money! Anyone else have this happen to them?
