    They called my dad last weekend, claiming the Chinese language satellite TV station he is watching has folded, then asked him for credit card info to switch to another network.  My dad checked and confirmed it is a scam. Wonder how they got his phone number. The caller is from outside of US but has our personal info. It's an international crime.

    I have received phone calls; like what you have. I was wondering how did your dad find out it was a scam? How did your dad know the caller is from outside of U.S.?

    They told me that mt TV program is going to terminated and persuade me to change to their program and promised to give me $300. Finally I didn't get anything. They also let me introduced my firend join their program and cheated my friends too.
