A fake pre-recorded message from the "Social Security department" telling me that my account has been suspended. This is a scammer! Called back and there is a pre-recorded message that says, "Please wait while we connect you with a representative." This is a scammer. Social Security will NEVER call you. They send letters!

Foreign sounding man said he needed my address, Social Security # and date of birth to verify that I was (MY NAME) so he could discuss private information. When pressed, he said he could not tell me WHYhe called until I verified this. He finally said he was with 'Target', but still could not reveal WHY he called. Even asked if he were selling something or was he with the Target Credit Card.?, I asked his supervisor to clarify, but NO reason for call.

Target cards are issued by TD Bank.  Unless you have one of their cards there is no reason for them to be calling you.

And if the number is being spoofed by scammers?  I do not trust any Blanket Statement such as yours.  Bad advice, or you are a shill for a billing scam.

The safe advice is to hang up and then call back on a number you know is good and that you dial for yourself.

this number called both my personal and my work phone. Very few people have my work cell. How did these scammers get this info? Hacked information obviously. Despicable!

If it was target they only ask for the last 4, I do have a target card. This number calls me constantly but does not leave a message. If it was important they would leave me a message

I’m behind on payments with my Target card. He was hard to understand, but what I could gather is that the number is associated with RCAM (Target RedCard) and it was in regards to collection of debt.

A man called and mispronounced my name and then asked me for my address for verification. I asked, who is calling? He claimed Target. I told him my payments are up to date and he told me that he needed more info for verification or that I could call back. So I then called back to be removed off of their call list. SCAMMERS!!!******

ERC or Enhanced Recovery Company is a third party debt collector.

Said they were target. She just kept asking for my address and information. I told her target can send it in writing and hung up. Scammm
