Just got same call, was it Capital One, seems like a phishing scam.

I called back, told them I didn't have a Cap One card, she said any card with $4000 plus debt would work.  I told her I didn't have that either & she hung up on me.

Any call from an actual credit card that you do business with is going to identify itself. The fact that my caller ID said 'Unknown Caller" was a big red flag. Looking at Capitol One's website, there is no such number like the one left in the message in their contact list.

Yeah unknown caller isn't capital one and they are persistent called me 4 times!!

Same exact message...Catherine....Capital One. I do not have an account with them. Suspicious!

This is a scam!!!!

Keeps calling from Unknown number many times in a day!!

Like a lot of previous replies, I got the same one. From "Catherine " about my capital one credit card and needing additional info.
  No way I was calling her back. It wasn't even a real person, its an automated voice message

This number (800-725-8715) called me on November 8th and left a message saying that this is "Catherine"  concerning my Capital One credit card, which I in fact have. So I thought there might be some legitimacy to it.  However when I called back and ask to speak to "Catherine" a female with a heavy foreign accent answered the phone & refused to transfer me to "Catherine"  and told me that she could assist me and had the same "authority" as "Catherine".  She proceeded to ask me if I had a Capital One card and I asked her if she called me she should know if I have a card or not from Capital One then she asked me do I have $4,000 or more in debt on ALL my credit cards that I possess and I told her that I did not feel comfortable giving that information out and requested to know what business she was representing she then hung up on me. I called back a second time and a different lady answered and again I ask for"Catherine" in the  "underwriting department",  she immediately hung up the phone again. Finally,  I called back a third time and told her that I would be reporting this to the local authorities as harassment.  DO NOT  answer this call and most certainly DO  NOT give out any private information. I would also suggest anyone that is being harassed by this caller report them to the proper authorities. This is truly sick and I will NEVER believe that there is not Something the FTC can do STOP this harassment!

I got the exact same message from an Unknown caller.

I got a call from that number saying could lower my interest on my capital one credit card. Caller id said unknown.
