- West Coast replies to East BayerI live in San Diego, so no reason for PG&E to call me. I have SDG&E. Must be a scam.
- JrSeeing the comments, why is PG&E calling me?!? I live in San Diego & my power provider is SDG&E. FYI I never lived up north. BLOCKED
- Mona CuddlesworthThe person who called me was heavy breathing for a few seconds before I said hello. They were out of breath and seemed a bit "out of sorts." I waited until they were done and said hello. The person said they were a Prince from Kalatakstan and wanted to "present" me with lottery winnings. I told mail it to me and gave her the address of Gitmo.

- F themPG&E scam
- BillSomeone called claiming to be from PG&E, asking if I have considered solar panels? The caller ID showed PG&E as well. So I asked if he's from PG&E, then why is he talking about solar panels? Since when PG&E is promoting solar panels? Then he politely hung up.

- Robert Ragsdale IIIJust received a call from this number claiming to be PG&E. Something about Solar Panels. I told him that I am not the owner of the house but a renter. He tried to tell me that renters can have solar panels installed now.
Now that is total BS.
Blocked the number- Caller: Fake PG&E
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Violet| 2 repliesI don't know why many block this as scammers..when the number is actually the 1800 number of pg&e. Check their website and this is the number they have posted for contacts. It's a legit number.
- Caller: PG&E
- You obviously.. replies to Violet...don't know that scammers routinely spoof legitimate numbers....
- neveranswer1This is NOT PG & E folks!!!! This is another company that uses the letter P,G,E in their own stupid name. You need to block them!!
- Georgeann King| 1 replyClaimed it was a service call from Pacific Gas and Electric, then said the service address (which wasn't mine). He had my name correct. I said it was the wrong address, and asked if it was really PG&E calling, figuring it wasn't. The response was several seconds of dead air -- I hung up. Wish I could block them, but Comcast only allows 25 numbers and I ran out of those a long time ago! Really tired of all these jerks, won't answer again.
- Caller: (Supposedly) Pacific Gas & Electric
- sf jbAccording to PG&E's main number it is a scam. People trying to sell solar services or collect bogus bills
It was an obvious telemarketing center given the background noise. Not something you would hear when calling a multi billion dollar utility. Those call centers use noise cancelling headsets and other devices that the scammers normally don't use.- Caller: Toll Free Caller claiming to be Pacific Gas and Electric
- Call type: Telemarketer
- sf jb replies to Georgeann KingComcast offers a robocall blocking service for free., Check out their web site or call them
As to the 25 numbers I just delete them when it gets full since the scammers are always changing numbers - Anony replies to VicYes and PGE has been saying that they have been investigating these calls for months. I just received another round of these fraudster calls yesterday and today. Keep calling PGE and complain to them directly. The PGE imposter cons prey on older adults and other vulnerable populations.
- Do not robocall replies to VioletBecause the number is being used by solar panel telemarketer cons posing as PGE--if you like getting these calls from cons, by all means, don't block them! The rest of us trust that if the real PG&E wants to contact us by phone they'll figure out how to do that.
- 8007435000I just called the number to see what would happen. It is the main PGE number and they have a menu selection that addresses fraudulent phone calls and emails. The voicebot reports that they are aware of the scam and the company is working with law enforcement to track down the perps.
