Caller asked for boss. When told boss was with customer and asked if he wanted to leave a message, gave this phone number, no company name, and said it was a "personal business matter." YELLOW ALERT. I asked what company caller was with and what the nature of the business matter was, caller simply repeated phone number and "personal business matter." I asked caller what he was selling. Caller claimed to NOT be selling anything, repeated phone number, repeated "personal business matter," and finally dropped the name "Ocwen" and told me to tell boss that, and she would know what I was talking about. I informed caller that boss receives a number of calls throughout the day, some of them are in fact telemarketers trying to sell us things we don't need, and that unless the caller gave me his name and left a message a bit more specific than "personal business matter," I would not pass the message on.

Caller became irate, repeated phone number, repeated "personal business matter," and finally said "Ocwen Loan Servicing" at which point I reminded him that I had asked him what he was selling and he had informed me that he wasn't selling anything, and since he had been dishonest and misrepresented himself, I would not be passing on any messages as he did not need to waste my boss's time and hung up on him.
