800-752-6633, Saying "Unavailable in my caller id, leaving a prompt in Spanish, "Yo Y PRIMO DOS."  No other identifying message or reason for calling.   However, upon my looking up this telephone number, some information is stating it's from Con Edison.  If you call 1-800-75-ConEd, it is the number: 1-800-752-6633, yet, I've received messages from Con Ed with their identity in the caller id, & a extended message with the reason for the call.  Sunday, the Sabbath Day, I would appreciate my day of rest & not being in receipt of the numerous harassing spoof callers that I am in receipt of all week, several times per day!  Today, was not the case.  However, If it was Con Ed, I appreciate the call if it's in reference to an alert due to the impending storm & warnings that there may be an outage!  Thank you.

This number is for ConEd, a gas and electric utility in New York.  It seems as if a scammer was able to spoof their number.  If you block all calls from it, you might miss a warning from ConEd about potential outages in your area.

Came into my home on 1/10/17, at 2:49pm, unavailable, no message, prompt saying: "Tood Evening, Thanks for calling Con Edison!"  Another # I did receive today was from 866 359 8517 at 1:41pm, unavailable, "Thank You for calling Acurian Health!" Amazing; when will  our government protect  the hard working tax payers, citizens, from being harassed with an abundance of telemarketing, spoofing, & criminal scammers, whom have a multiple of fraudulent schemes to manipulate, dupe & rob the unsuspecting persons?  Being on the "DO NOT CALL REGISTRY & REPORTING THESE & OTHER NUMBERS TO THEM & WRITING A RETURN RECEIPT LETTER TO THE STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE WITH ALL THE NUMBERS THAT WERE UNWANTED, SPOOFING & HARASSING.  I even called my phone provider to block all these unwanted callers. TO NO AVAIL!!!

A recorded message (female), supposedly from Con Ed, re possible electrical interruptions and if I have an emergency situation, blah blah blah. I've been getting loads of these, and haven't been able to stop them.  So, it's snowing.  Big deal!  'Cept that everything is an emergency, or a threat!  The infrastructure is a mess in NYC.  Sorry, I smell a rat in more ways then one.  Thing is, we're going to get used to this very fast....  I don't blame the rank and file workers.  I'm going to call Con Ed via my account to stop these calls.  If I have an outage, I can call them.

The women called from this number 800-752-6633 claiming she's from ConEdison and left message to call her back because they have notice to disconnect my service due to non-payment. I DO NOT HAVE CON EDISON SERVICE OR ACCOUN.

called twice on SUN morn, no message.  If this was real, then ConEd would have left a voice mail, and CallerID would not show as 'unavailable'

I got a call from this number telling my I had a disconnection notice and that I had to call 855 257 0844. Calling that number contacted me with a female, she transferred me to someone with the same voice of the person who called me. Asked me to go to RideAid and get three green cash cards worth 1,500. I acted like I was doing so and at the end told him I was glad I had wasted his time so he cannot scam someone else at the moment. He was dumbfounded and even told me I did a good job.

Id said David Gosein. Last week I received a call from the same number with Id saying Con Edison. Both calls hung up on answering machine. I'm not even in the Con Edison service area.

Called my work on Friday 12/22/17. Claimed they were from our local electric company (SDG&E). Claimed we had 2 outstanding bills and if we didn't pay in 45 minutes from the moment the call ended our electricity would be shut off. Wouldn't let me get  a word in except he made me repeat the number he told me to call to pay which was (866)978-4626. Figured I probably suspected he was scammer and didn't want to give me a chance to ask questions or get sassy with him. Funny thing is that I work directly with the bookkeeper and we are paid in full, no outstanding bills. In my past personal experiences, SDG&E would send you a letter well before shutting you off if you haven't paid. All mail to this company goes through me and we had no such letter. We never called that number and wow look our electricity was never shut off. Sorry person who called me, you are obviously part of a scam operation. Get a life.

Caller ID was shown as David Gosein.  Claims to be from ConEdison.  Called 3 times so far within a few days.
Said there was a repair work going on in my area and warned of a possible outage.  I don't believe ConEd will go out of their way to call us and be so anxious to let us know 3 times in a row of an ongoing repair work.

Said it was CenterPoint Energy and a technician was on his way to disconnect our electric.  I told him that was interesting since my payments are auto deducted from the checking account so we haven't missed any payments.  He gave me a number to call for the billing office: 844-411-8291.  Scammer

Called and claimed to be with service termination department for CenterPoint Energy and looking for owner of company. Caller ID came up as David Gosein. Super Scam

They called saying my gas would be cut off for nonpayment and that they have been trying to reach me. They wanted me to call back another number to pay my bill and I said I can’t write that number down bcuz I’m driving but it’s ok bcuz I know the number to my gas company and the they hung up on me. I called centerpoint energy to see what was going on and they said ‘ma’am, it’s a scam going around right now, call the police to report it’. She also said it was on the news this morning in Houston. They knew old and new info regarding our recent move and everything. Scary. Hope this helps.

I got a call at 8:15AM on a Sunday morning and did not answer. A voicemail was left with an automated female voice saying that the power that was shut off was restored. The funny thing is power was never turned off so this whole thing smells fishy to me. I wouldn’t trust this number with any information, if you needed to confirm anything with coned you should call them yourself!

Spoofing an authentic ConEd number a d warning me that my account will be terminated.

Just received a call from a woman at this # saying that I hadn’t paid my bill and that people were on their way to turn off my power. It is a total phishing attempt. Hang up!
