They called and left a message, but the message was in some kind of Asian language.

I have received multiple calls from this number. Based on reading the other comments, I can safely assume that this is Asurion, calling to remind me to return the equipment for the AT&T service that I recently had disconnected. Thanks for the reminder. Going to the UPS store today to drop off the modem.

This number is Asurion Insurance with Verizon Wireless reminding me to return my broken device.

Same thing happened to me.  Not to mention I started getting spam texts and emails only After giving Assurion my info.  Plus, my replacement phone doesn’t work and when they replaced my sons iPad the second one had to go back because it didn’t work.

Got a call from what could have been a recorded voice calling concerning the broken phone I mailed Nov 6 2020 indicating they had not received it. They left a voicemail giving the claim number but the amount they quoted for non returned broken device didn’t sound right. Too many 0 at the end. They said they were from Asurion where the replacement phone came from . Is this a scam call?

Claim to be from Assurion - -we have Sprint and got a replacement phone.   Seems they are hacked into whoever sends out replacement phones under warranty.
Seems Verizon customers get same issue.

Question about this number, there was no name, spoke.

They said it was asurion and that they needed the tracking number of my recently returned device. I told them that since they sent me the envelope with the tracking number in it then they should have it and did not give it to them.  I called the actual company asurion and found out the caller was a scam.

DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER! I called Asurion and it is not a valid number. Only call the number on Asurion’s official website.

I called Asurion after I got a call from this number and they told me they never call people, only email them

Called my phone I dont answer unknown calls, only message says press 9 to repeat message but was no message. Didn't identify themselves but I did replace phone using Asurion last week so suspect it was them from reading other posts.

How are they able to call if you gave them the phone?

Assurion, the insurance provider for many phone companies like Verizon.  Courtesy call to remind you to return your defective/damaged device.
