getting constant calls

This is a number that appears on my Rogers Bill as customer service.

Got a call from this number once every two days.

Finally decided to answer it so I could tell them to stop calling. It was just an automated message about Tethering being included in the account.

Once I answered and listened to the message, they stopped calling.

Constantly getting these calls but when I answer the automated messages is half way thru it's shpeel and then it hangs up. I'v told rogers about this and they said they'd check into it. Well more than half a year later and still getting the calls! Worse thing is once the first call is answered or ignored then not more than (I swear) half a minute later they call again!! Stupid things it they even call into the mid to late evening or on weekends. They get hundreds of dollars from us customers and yet they think calling us constantly is a good thing? Our bills are paid every month!

Ignorant, arrogant [***], this company called ROGERS - and I happen to be a longterm customer !
In this day of rampant phone fraud they won't leave a voicemail so you can contact them at YOUR convenience - what a bunch of bumbling idiots ?!
They will be losing MY business shortly.
This is the final straw from a company that is COMPLETELY out of touch with the market and their customers - and they couldn't care less !

I gave him a tard voice, or Spongebob meme reply. "Oh you're from Rogers? Are you duct cleaning also?". LMAO. If that was Rogers, thank those dill holes for killing the telephone; you've done nothing to stop them. In my house, you can't have both - you're either the phone company that takes telephone scammers seriously, or you're a Spongebob meme when you call. I'm with Bell, so suck my bells.

Well it's been almost 2 years since they last called here. I answered the phone and promptly got hung up on after I said hello.
If it was rogers then say hello back.
If it was a scammer then let's have an interesting convo of why annoying people shouldn't be a goal in life.
If it was rogers testing the number then I strong suggest you acquaint yourselves with that price gouging bill you send us every month. Our number is real but your prices are far from realistic.

By phoning that number back, you are falling into their trap.
As long as you keep in contact with them, they can ignore the “ do not call” request to prevent unwanted soliciting. That is the law, in related to the “ do not call” program.

This is not a rogers number. Rogers customer service is 888, not 800. This number is a scammer trying to feed off people misdialing Rogers customer service.
