I received a postcard with this phone number on it for a Southwest get away anniversary it's a travel expo.

This # was on a postcard from “Amazon Travel Services”, which has used other names and 800 numbers, and has previously been shown to be a scam. The logo looks suspiciously similar to the real Amazon (same typeface, but no “smile”). Strangely enough, I looked up the phone # on Google first, and it belongs to a moving company in Maryland. Postcard says the “travel expo” is held in the town in Illinois where I grew up (and where the real Amazon has a major distribution center).

# was on a postcard for saveontravel.  The $25 early bonus seems legit but the free airfare/vacation is bogus.  There is a $50 registration and $199pp reservation fee making the free vacation cost $450. We will throw it in the trash.

Got the postcard yesterday from "Amazon Travel Services" with the 800-764-8118 number on it.  No return address or any other info to indicate a 'real' business.  It looks like the old time share invitations of the 1980's where they promise you the moon but in the end you'll spend more than they give.  We'll give it to our shredder to play with.

Ditto all the above - invite to "Travel Expo" w/ inducement of "All couples who attend get round trip coach class travel vouchers.. 3-day stay at major 3 & 4 star hotels". SCAM!

Total scam!  Don’t waste your time.

I received a post card from Amazon Travel services, offering 2 airfare and 2 nights hotel stay with a 25 dollar visa card. I called the 800 # and they told me they are not "the Amazon" but the do own the company with the Amazon name. I looked it up and there are many companies with the Amazon name. We went to the Expo they hosted in a Marriott courtyard and actually learned a lot about travel. We did receive the airfare and hotel certificate along with a 25 dollar visa voucher as well. You do have to pay a fee which is the taxes and a small activation fee which I was aware of being they told me that when we arranged the appointment. If we traveled more than we do, we probably would have purchased their program as we could see pretty good savings. I saw the reviews above and don't see that any of them actually went to the expo, so not sure they can call it a scam, as we got everything they promised us.
