i recieved a call from 1800-793-0282 today at 1:36 pm while i was in school.  when i got out of school i didnt recognize the number so i blocked my number and called it.  it's some edecation program thing, and i'm pretty sure it's a 3rd party from an online survey.  last night i signed up for InboxDollars and im pretty sure that has something to do with it.  I also got a call from 954-905-4135 and 954-905-4135 but i am not sure if they are all the same people.

I too filled out a couple of online surveys last night and the calls started today.  They called once while I was at work and left no message. They called again and when I answered, they hung up without saying a word

Calls from this number started  5 days ago to my cell. I haven't answered them and they haven't left any messages. They have been calling 4 times a day. I'm about THIS close to answering and saying what the frell do you people want?

I called this number back and it was Education Advance.  They got my number from me filling out survey on internet.  Never again will I do that.  Apparently its a rent a number for a set period of time because it appears that the same number is being used for different marketing groups

Recieved today at 12:35 pm.  Lady said she was from National Education Services and said I recently filled out a form indicating I was interested in getting a degree.  I've never filled out any such form - I already have 2 degrees.  She apologized and wished me a good day.  Not unpleasant, but annoying that I had to use my cell minutes for what was essentially a telemarketer...

Got a call as well and it was because I filled out a survey.

got 2 calls 2 hrs. apart did not answer.  the night before i did fill out some on line survey saying i would receive a free laptop, but never really got to the part about the free laptop because they asked me to fill out to much b.s.

I just got a new cell phone on Saturday and between Saturday at 11:55 am and Monday morning; I got 16 calls looking for a Biagio and an Anna Ortiz. I am neither of them and told them to stop calling me each time. They are still calling me. They block their number sometimes so it comes up as 1-111-111-1111. I was on the phone with customer service complaining this morning and they said they no longer had my number on file and as I was talking to them, they called my cell phone again. It is now Dec. 4 10:40. Between the activation of my cell phone and now I have been called 19 times. While I was being called I was complaining. Have fun all!

Supposedly I filled out a form requesting information for continuing education. I used my cell phone number - which they keep calling and either don't leave a voicemail or say anything when I call. I called the number back from work TWICE today and asked them to take my name off their calling list. Let's see if they call again!

I have received numerous calls from this number according to my caller id.  I finally answered the call and they asked for my daughter. I told them she was not available and he said he was from Education Advance.  I told him to remove us from the list.  I then called back and got the same guy and he has caller id also caused he asked for my daughter again.  He said she filled out a form on the internet and that was why he was calling and that she needed to be 21 years old in order to participate.  I lied and told him she was only 8 years old and he said he would remove us immediately....actually she is 15 years old....jokes on him...ha ha ha

I have recieved three calls from this number.  I filled out an online survery to recieve  a $500 gift card from JC Penny.  I will not ever do that again.

this did not get through to my cell, but shows in the history as an attempted incomming call. I keep my cell turned off most of the time unless I am expecting a call, so these numbers do not get through. I do not know how they got this number I do not use it as a public number for any reason. It is used only for bare basic communications. never on a survey! these people should be hung out to dry though!

Entered readers panel for Home Magazine and they linked it directly to this phone scammer.  I am cancelling my subscription immediately to this lame magazine.  What a scam. Happened in a matter of 5 minutes!

Just got this info from friend.  He told me to go ahead and answer phone next time they call (you'll know by the phone # they are calling from) with some fake name like, "Joe's Pizza".  When the telemarketer asks for you by name, answer back, No, this is "Joe's Pizza" or whatever you want to make up.  They will remove you off their list.  He knows this because he worked for telemarketing time share in Branson a few years ago and said whenever they got a wrong number call it was taken off the list.  I too am on Do Not Call list, but there's no laws in place to protect you from getting these scammers bugging you.  Only answer calls from those in your address book, if caller is too chicken to leave a voice mail, don't worry about who it was!

I got called by these people at Education Advance like 3 times!  The first two times were after 7 at night.  The third time they called in the day.  Since I told my husband about it, he answered the phone and told them that there was no one by that name at this number.  When the guy persisted, my husband roughly repeated his initial response.  The caller backed off and (so far) hasn't called again.    I just started going to a junior college for a class I needed to take for my job and I'm thinking that maybe they may have gotten my number from there when I applied online.  Whatever the case - it's annoying!  I hate telemarketers and phone survey people!
