My dad was a victim and they said all the right things to make this sound as legit as it gets the guy gave his name a personal call back number and extension after my dad gave all his information and bank account number and the call was over it didn't set well with me so I began to research just the phone number and found information that this was a scam claiming to be insurance agents selling whole life policies for American Amicable

This isn't a "whole life policy".  It is term insurance.  Whole life policies pay dividends and have other benefits but you will need to get a health exam if you are older.  Some term life policies don't require that depending on your age because they use statistics to determine your chance of dying before the policy expires.  In any case you should always be calling them and not the other way around since anyone calling you to sell something, unless you already have an established business relationship, would be a crook.  Now your father will have to dispute the charges and get a new account at the bank.  By the way, you are not a "victim" since your father is really the victim and I fail to see why you couldn't come up with an original screen name instead of copying one that makes you look like you are replying to yourself.

Yes I was also a victim as well I left out a detail I actually share a bank account with my father and in order for them to go through with the process he gave my ss# and I thought he said whole life but I was just putting it out there it is a scam rather its whole life or term life it's still scammers

He acted  like  an insurance  agent, asked  for  my SS# and banking  information. Didn't  give  my banking  info  though. My Venmo  account  was not  good enough  for him insisted  on a physical  bank. That's  when ai became  suspicious

Maybe she is related to "Carolyn jones " on page 1 who apparently gave her "address and social" but "didn't give my bank information".

The first man I spoke with sounded like he was American his name was James the he transferred me to a man named " David Alzarri" he definitely had  a accent, but spoke perfect English.  Well he was really nice and I gave him my name DOB and my address, but when he asked for my social my gut told me to not give it to him. Then I started thinking he didn't even know my name when he he checked to see if I was eligible for the insurance.  I even told him that I'm not working right now I just moved to a different state. How was I approved before he knew my name......... because it's [***].  This is what was going through my mind.  Lol well I told him he wasn't getting Jack [***] from me.  So decided to look them up. First I tried looking up the brokerage firm. He said it was called senior care. Well all I got was nursing homes and assisted living places.  Then I looked up the number and found out that my gut was right once again.  Something should be done about all of the different ways to scam people nowadays.  Elderly people that are on a fixed income don't have a chance.  I feel really bad for them. Most of them are very trusting and believe people.  Bless them. Someone should do something.  I'm going to call president Trump.
