I got a call they left an understandable message.  The number is from Source Gas it is a uitilityit was a courtsey call about a past due utility bill.

i got this call today...it says its source gas but i call a 800 from my gas bill statement and they said they didnt know what that number was and since i am not behind on my gas bill i shouldnt even be gettin such a call...i think it a info stealing scam of some sort.

I got a call from this number today and they said they were "Arkansas Western Gas with an important call for Mwa.." (i.e., name was cut off and not a recognizable word).  Stated that I was severely behind on my bill and that I needed to call them back before it was turned over to a collection agency.  I DON'T have gas - natural nor propane - nor an account with this company. Checked here and decided not to return the call.

It IS Source Gas, or Arkansas Gas, depending on where you live. Their billing department isn't the brightest, so you may or may not have an account with them. No scam, just not the correct information on their part some times.

We do have 2 other accounts...one at business and one at rental property.  But those are drafted out of bank acct ea. month.  Called the number back and rep said he didn't have any idea why I got the call. That we have perfect payment history.  He apologized over and over.

I have had numberous calls from them saying we are past due and we are not past due. It is very irriating because they blame it on the stupidity on someone else in the company every time I call. Don't ever finance anything through Source Gas they are screwed up!!!!!!!!!!!!!
