- LynnThey are saying they are from columbus Ohio. Some collection agency asking for my last four of my social security number
- AmandaThese people called my mom's number to try and get ahold of me. Claiming they are from Ohio and I noticed the person above me said they are a collection agency. This time they are stating that they are a bank. Said the name of the bank is Risk Community Bank? and I Googled them. Not one thing about them popped up. Take my advice: don't answer their calls! Spells total scam to me.

- Caller: Unknown (caller had thick accent)
- DeaThey called my number looking for my daughter who hasnt lived with me in 6 years and has her own phone. When i called back tbey couldnt pull up anything with my number and esnted my social. I refused and told them to stop calling or my lawyer would call them.
- KatyThis is "phishing:" they want a database of your info to commit identity theft. I got 2 calls saying they were from "Commenity Bank," to my landline asking for my husband's ex-wife's name. They wanted the last 4 of my social (i refused) and then my date of birth. (I stupidly gave it!) They are not from Comenity Bank -- I called the bank, it's not one of their numbers. Comenity says this is phishing -- suggested I put a 90 day fraud alert on my credit report, which I did at Experian. The woman sounded South Asian (Indian/Pakistani.) I got a call the prior day, also from someone sounding South Asian, saying they had something to do with Windows. I don't use Windows. Once again -- give nobody any numbers. I could have called a vetted Comenity bank number and checked rather than calling them back. You need a new "call type" category for Phishing/Scammers/Fraud

- BigA replies to AnneIf you had read the other posts you would have found out that this is Comenity Bank. They issue branded credit cards for a lot of different companies.
- TiffanyWanted social security number
- Caller: Ex 772
- Concerned citizenMan called with a heavy southeastern accent. Identified himself as from Comenity Lane Bryant. The number on my phone was 614-729-3000 from Reynoldsburg, Ohio. He requested a call back at 800-804-2011. I was suspicious bc I do not have a Lane Bryant account. Googled the 800 number and found this website. I put a 90-day fraud alert on my account by calling Experian as their website would not accept my information even though I typed it in twice. I also sent a message through Comenity's website notifying them of this scam phone call.
- Caller: Comenity Lane Bryant
