Calls from Simon Echler and Associates. Very Threatening telling me I need to get a lawyer as they are taking me to court for some old debt they claim I owe. Very nasty man who claims his name is Adam English

I have received multiple calls from Amber Swain at Simon Echler and Associates at this number indicating they are planning to take legal action. She does not identify who they are representing. I am working with a consumer credit counseling agency and have turned all the information over to them.

All I have to say is that Amber Swain is a big C U Next Tuesday. I used to get calls from these people multiple times a day. After I reported their number to my local police station, they stopped calling.

A Mr. Harvey called my work on Tuesday 3/6/12. Asked him not to call my place of employment, and to call the home number they have on file. He asked me to call him back, i told him i would when i was off of work at 5pm. He said that he was not in at 5pm and that i needed to call him back sooner than that. I told him i could call him back after 5 or not at all. Took his name and number down and repeated for him not to call me at work. Well Today is now Thursday 3/8/12 and he called again. I told him i gave him warning not to call me at work, and he said he did not care what i told him and that he was going to send a process server to my employer today. I finally screamed at him not to call my work anymore and hung up on him. I have no idea why this man is calling me, but he has lost his mind. I need to find an address for them so i can send a letter to them and the FDCPA, the stated Attorney General, the BBB, Federal trade commission and whomever else i can think of. **** Anyone have any suggestions on how i can obtain an address for them?****

I received a call from these people too and they left a vague message in my voice mail with a "case number."  I have check all three of my credit bureau reports and show no accounts in collections.  If they persist, I too will call the police.  Before this I was getting calls from "Credit Control" and wonder if they are related.
Seems like a scam.

Simon and Eckler and Associates have been calling my job several times and when i do call them to make arrangements on a bill via money order they want my credit card information. I need to know where they are located to report them to the BBB. I want to get them to stop harrassing me. They want the payments their way or face consequences.

Ms. Swain and Mr. Childs have both been harrassing me. They claim my husband owes hundreds of dollars from something back in 05/2008. When we ask for information to be mailed to our home it is ignored. My husband called Mr. Childs today and asked that he stop calling us if the company is unwilling to provide documentation about this supposed debt. Mr. Childs told my husband that he and I should enjoy the continued phone calls and that they will not be sending proof to us. My husband provided our address several times.

that is crap....i listened to the recorded conversation.....now just because people dont want to pay a bill they make others look bad....well guess what....we are not the bad guys....we called to have you pay a bill and req several times to have the address and email address and all this man did was yell and state that he was not going to give his address.....listen if you dont want to pay just tell us...we will stop the calls and let the laws handle these

I just got a call from these guys with an automated message which sounded like someone reading a script. It basically said that the call isn't a solicitation and that either myself or my counsel need to call a Mrs. Murdock to resolve the matter voluntarily. I guess this is just another garbage debt collector. They didn't identify who they were.

Seriously, no one should be harassed at work, and by the way - it's illegal!  If you're harassing, you're a bad guy, and maybe more so than some schmo who's barely getting by and defaulted on a debt.

Got a msg from Frank Turner to Call Mr Hess @ regarding a payday loan that's in my daughter name. He also advise me not her she has to go to court on Monday & this call was placed on a Thursday after 7pm.

I picked up a voicemail today from some guy at this company, Simon Eckler & Associates but he identifies he is calling for somebody else, same first name as mine, different last name. Said the person's file was marked "uncooperative" blah blah blah, and to call him back, he can help. Poor soul probably never got any messages, no wonder, if the dummy is leaving voicemails on the wrong phone #'s (my voicemail message CLEARLY states my full name!)
I tried calling back the 800-804-5587 ext 305 to tell him he left vm on wrong phone #... all I could get was the recording saying to dial the extension, so I did. It goes right back to the recording! Tried it again. Same thing.  Tried "0" also, it goes right back to the recording! No one ever picks up.  I waited a while, and the recording kept repeating, until it finally hung up on me. Finally thought to try Googling it to see if I could get another phone # or an email address or website. Nada, just THIS website.
Now how the heck would someone be able to get a hold of these idiots to resolve their issues!!!!    Really glad this wasn't actually my phone call..  but I feel for the poor person who is getting harrassed.

Recieved a call from these people. Seem like a scam, so I told them to send me info via email. I recieved a call from jenni (who didn't leave a last name) and spoke to Lauren Edwards. I will not be giving these people money, and if they continue to call I will contact the authorities!!

SOmeone named Shawn Payne called and left a threatening message on corporate general mailbox. I responded by email and told the not to contact me at work. He called again twice in a row. I am calling my attorney.

I was contacted by an old friend telling me that simon echler had called and left a message for me on his phone claiming that i need to get ahold of them by next week or i would have an arrest warrant. can they actually do this? is it a scam? has anyone here actually had any trouble with the police after ignoring these scam calls?
