- Shelley| 6 repliesThis telephone number called me about switching telephone service over to AT&T.
- n/aSomeone from this number also called us to speak about our AT&T account. We have been harassed for the past 3 months by AT&T reps, even though we already have AT&T. It's either a company trying to slam us, or if it really is AT&T, they are trying to switch us to a more expensive plan. My boss has talked with them, and they don't even know what services or how many lines we have. Even telling them to stop calling does not work.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- AnnoyedThis number has called our office several times a day eventhough the first time we spoke to them, we clearly told them we were not interested. It even got to the point that they used foul language and even said that because we would not cooperate that our rates with AT& T WILL increase. We even asked to be taken off the call list and they said they would not do that and that they would continue to call anyway. If this company is really associated with AT & T and we find our and verify, we will change carriers!
- Caller: AT & T
- Call type: Telemarketer
- AmyI posted on 8/30/07 about them. A rep called again today. She said that she wanted to "make sure we receive our bill credit". We've received numerous calls supposedly from AT&T. Like the other person, they have threatened several times over the past few months that our rates will increase. i.e. "Well your bill will SKY-ROCKET on August 1st!" So far, nothing has changed. If it really is ATT, how come they don't know who to ask for and what services we receive? That's some food for thought.

- We've had enough!Travis says he is calling for AT&T and would like to speak to the one who handles the telephone service. I asked if he truly works for AT&T and he said "yes".
- Melissa replies to Shelley| 1 replyDo not give this fake AT&T rep any information. This is just another scam to get information about your account. These people will not stop!!
- buddyConstantly calling my store. I simply turn on the fax machine to give them an ear full
- Caller: Claim to AT&T
- DFI Inc.We go through a private phone company and I constantly get calls at the office about "A bid sent over for switching to AT&T" when I tell him we are not interested and we are happy with our current phone service, he gets rude and tells me I do not have the authority to make that decision and he wants to speak to the owner. No matter how many times i tell him to stop calling, it continues atleast 4 to 5 times a day.
I called AT&T and asked if it was a legit company with them, all I was told is they are a 3rd party who sells for AT&T. I don't think you can get them to stop...- Caller: 1 Source Telecommunications

- CarltonI get almost daily phone calls from 800-815-6318, and a few others. I answer the phone, and it is either AT&T trying to get me to swith over to them, or the phone is dead with no one on it. I am a small business man with no receptionist. My phone rings over to my cell phone when I'm not in the office, and when it is one of these calls, there is no one on the other end. I come to my office, and check, and 9 times out of 10, the caller id is this 800-815-6318. One time out of 10, it is a customer that is calling to use my services, so I can't affort to not drive to my office and see who called. I spoke with AT&T, and they claim to have removed me, but the calls continue.
- Caller: A T & T

- CiscoJones| 1 reply800 815-6318 called. I specifically asked them if they worked for ATT and they said yes. They told me that they had an open trouble ticket on our phones. We do not use ATT and they are lying.
What can I do?- Caller: ATT
- Call type: Telemarketer
- woodyWhen I answered the phone, I could hear backgroud noise as if the caller was in the process of turning on a headset, this delay gave me a chance to hang up before they had a chance to speak. They called back later and I just let the phone ring and they hung up without leaving a message.

- JanaOK I get this # calling me daily, and I have told them not only do we (our business) have contract with our other provider we do not want to leave.
Also, I told them to stop calling, they keep on but when I call them it did say AT&T but no, I asked her when she answered, I said is this Bellsouth, (didn't say AT&T) and she said no, One Source Telcom. So I told her to take my # off, said she would. called back to say it again although didn' thave another call and she said immediately, they called you back again? (just lied and said yes) she said I will fwd email again to take off your #!
Try that you all. Good idea about hitting the fax button when they call!
Anyway, I wonder what they make to sit and just harrass folks for service?!
Get rude right back with them! Hell, who cares?!- Caller: Toll Free # is what it says on caller ID
- Doug replies to ShelleyThese guys have called me twice a week for a year. Even I'm on the do not call list, they still keep calling... and calling... and calling.
The federal govt would never prosecute AT&T. The whole DNC list is a joke. - Shel| 3 replies1-800-815-6318
Transcript of phone call:
“May I speak to Don XXXXX?” (our company's OWNER)
“I’m sorry, but he’s not at this location.”
“Ohhhhh, he’s not. Well who’s the big man in charge out there?”
“May I ask what this is regarding?”
“Uh, no this is a personal matter.”
“Well if this is a personal matter, don’t you think you should know the person’s name you’re looking for?”
“Yeah, it was Don Gibson."
"Okay, but he’s not at this location so what personal matter do you have and with whom?”
“I don’t have to answer that.”
“Uh, yes you do, sir. What’s your company name?”
“That’s none of your business……MY COMPANY – there you go – that’s my company name... 'MY COMPANY'.”
“At what company do you work, sir?”
“Ma’am you’re being VERY rude to one of your customers. Do you want to get fired?”
** HANG UP **
He calls back.
I answer: “Good Morning, XXXXXXX.”
“PUT….YOUR BOSS….ON THE PHONE NOW.”
“I will need to know who is calling and from what company.”
“MA’AM, I DON’T WANT TO KNOW HIS NAME, I WANT TO TALK TO HIM TO GET YOU FIRED!”
“Please do not call here again. Put me on your do not call list.”
“You have no idea who you’re speaking to.”
** Google search/white pages ---- “telemarketer – AT&T” **
“Uh, yeah I do. You’re calling from AT&T.”
“No I'm not, you don’t know who you’re talking to.”
“I’m reading it right here – telemarketer calling from AT&T. Please do not call here again. Put us on your DO NOT CALL LIST.”
**I hang up **
I call back the 1-800 number, and, sure enough, it was AT&T. I told the person that I received two very rude calls back to back, and I would like for our company to be placed on their DO NOT CALL list IMMEDIATELY.”
Woman sighed and asked if I got a name. I said, “JOHN” which is probably fake. She said, “and what’s your company’s phone number?” So I told her. She was going to put the supervisor on the phone, but she was on the other line. Said she would put us on DO NOT CALL and would have the supervisor call.- Caller: AT&T
- Call type: Telemarketer
- CoryThey called me, but I did not answer.
I called back and asked why they were calling me. The lady asked if I had Clearwire service (wireless internet service which total sucks). I told her that I had service before but no longer.
She says that she is transferring me. Ended up in the original call in messaging system.
Got the same lady again. She hung up.
Called back in and same lady. She hung up again.
Called back in 4th time same lady, and she hung up again.
Last time I asked why she was hanging up on me, and she said it was the not her. It was happening during the transfer.
I told her that it had been months since I had Clearwire, and she asked for my name to put it on the do not call list.
I refused and she hung up.- Caller: Clearwire?
- I hate telemarkersI keep getting calls from this number. The guy said he was from Clearwire - which is my internet service provider. The company sucks! Avoid Clearwire. Their internet service is a joke.

- KayGot calls from this number, when I take the call they hang up.
- Concerned ConsumerA person calling himself Robert left a message asking me to call him back at this number. He said he was from Clearwire. Since the callers are identifying themselves as associated with different companies, these are callers phishing for personal information. I'd suggest reporting this to your Attorney General's Office. They should be able to refer you to the appropriate agency to file a formal complaint
- JanaThank goodness for this website! This number has been calling me every single day for the last few weeks- I've never picked up because I didn't recognize the number, and they never left a message so I figured it may be a scam. I'll make sure to never pick up the phone now!!!
