Unsolicited call from a number not in my contacts. No message left that would identify the caller or why they felt that I should answer their call.
Blocked the caller, if the caller can not leave a message that identifies the caller and the reason for the call, I presume they were hoping I would answer and they could glean some personal info in order to perpetrate a scam some kind.
Doaway with spam caller, block any call from a caller that does not leave a message!

Half a ring and hang up.  Twice in a row.

Got a call today, 3/23/20 from this number to my cell at 15:40.  Here is the thing though.  I never heard a ring.  And I had the phone within ear's distance, and not muted.  There was a voice mail with a 37 second robo announcement about the number one security system and to call them back.  The company was not identified.

I have never received a call from them before.  So the number had not previously been blocked.  It is now.

Given the facts, I strongly suspect that it is one of those scams that entice you to call them back, and you get routed to a number that bills you for the connection.

Spam/scam call to my cell appeared to originate from 800-814-4106.  Voicemail was from "Erica" at "America's #1 home security company" offering a risk free trial (so of course they wouldn't want to mention who they are?).  Says to call her back at 800-816-1266 - so we're adding BOTH numbers to our block list.
