Called and threatened that ComEd employee was outside to turn of electricity if an immediate payment of $370.00 was not made to an unknown account.  Walgreen's supervisor confirmed scam after I made inquiries.

called themselves Comed but they are not

Claimed they were ComEd and going to shut off power because I needed to pay $400. I called ComEd and they said it was not them. SCAM!

Caller threatened to cut off power during busy hours, a complete scam!!!

Called our business saying we owed $1390 to ComEd and that we were going to have our power turned off in 20 mins.  Had no actual account number info.  Just our business address.  Called the actual ComEd # on our monthly bills and it's not true.

Claimed to be Alabama Power and immediate shut off of power without payment. Disconnected immediately once I told them I do not have Alabama Power service.

Said they were PG&E doing courtesy call that service would be disconnected in an hour due to non payment. Said I needed to call back the same number to make a payment. Checked our account online and it was paid in full. Called the number back and argued with the Scammers for a bit. Finally they hung up on me.

I recieved the same call today representing a San Diego Gas and Electric representative. They asked that I go down to VONs and pay 475 dollars because sdge no longer accepts payments online. He said if I did not do it my electricity would be turned off. Since he did not asked for personal information on the phone he had me going for a second but instead of heading towards vons I went directly to the SDGE office. I confirm the SOB was a fraud. Beware I can see how they cash in on a lot of people. Missed opportunity for them when they called me. Piece of **it they are.
