- Caller: Chase
- Call type: Debt collector
- AdviceGuy| 1 replyDo NOT call them back from your house or cell phone. They will never stop calling you and when you call them back it only lets them know the number is viable.. I don't have an account with Chase and Chase will confirm that this number is NOT affiliated with them. This is all a phishing scam. If you don't believe me, call them back but call them from a pay phone and do NOT give them your account number or SSN. It is free to call 800 numbers from a pay phone...the 800 number owner has to pay for the call!!! If you want to get these scammers where it hurts, call them from every pay phone you come across!
- Caller: Chase, but it's not

- AngiI received a very rude call from chase but they did not say they were chase.I answered the call as the number looks the same as chase. So I have this guy telling me on the other line all my home info but not my loan number but its a Indian person speaking and of course you cant understand them.He was telling me my house was in fore closer and that I had to pay the escrow amount of 1050.20 to not lose my home and that the Hamp modification would be good for me to apply after I made the payment with my credit card not bank account.I told him I wanted to speak to his supervisor due to I had no chase letters telling me this I recently got laid off and I am 3 months behind in my mortgage so this sounds pretty good at the moment but in the back of my head something is saying No dont do it.So the supervisor came on the phone and hes just as rude as the other guy.So its hard to believe then he tells me in a loud voice then you dont want to save your house just make the payment and we will send you all info threw email.this is the lost mediagation department for chase. So I got all the info from them and told them I would call back once I got home to get my card info.I called the chase customer service number I explained what had just happened and there was no info on any of this in my file they looked up the persons name on there chase data bass and nothing .So I am just so confused.when I did call the number back it does say chase and it puts you on hold and says a customer rep will be with you .If it chase they hired a bunch of rude people to help has anyone had or done this process this would help me alot with the 30% lowering of my mortgage and interest but I diont want ot get fooled either money doesnt grow on trees and dont want to lose my home either.

- DanI have a mortgage with another company and am up-to-date. The caller had a bad middle-East accent and knew my name and address (& obviously cellphone number). I confirmed that my real mortgage company did not sell or re-assign my loan. They confirmed that Chase Mortgage had nothing to do with my mortgage and should not be contacting me for any reason. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION, especially your social security number. Anyone legitimate will already have all the information they need. Also, they will contact you in writing if it is real. They have to have proof they have given you notice. They are attacking helpless people suffering due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
