A call from Chase online banking

regarding questions on a home mortgage/home equity line.

The caller called and left a message on the answering machine but never said their name or where they were calling from

A woman left a message. She said something about a fruadulent charge on my Chase account, but I don't have any connection with Chase. She didn't say my name, or any name for that matter other than her own.

This is a scam! Do not give any info!

I recieved a call this morning from this number regarding suspicious charges on my debit card.
This is not a scam, they caught the transactions before I even knew about them and cancelled my card.
I hung up and called chase to verify and it was on the level.
I for one am glad they called!

Call the number on the back of your card, or call your local branch and ask for the number to call.

Got a call today from this number. Didn't answer but figured it was Chase since they have blocked charges on my card that "don't fit my spending pattern." I called the main Chase number and asked if the call was legitimate. They checked and saw that the call was legit. I suggest always calling your main bank number before giving out info

4. Juni 2008. In der Zeit zwischen 9h und 9:30 wurde ich von Herrn Peter N. (Mitarbeiter der Chase Bank) am Telefon bezichtigt, dass ich Gelder eines betagten Herrn veruntreue!!!
Mittels Kraft eines Rechtsanwalts wurde mir die Befugnis uebertragen, alle Belange fuer diese betagte Person nach bestem Wissen und Gewissen zu regeln, was mir Peter N. in Abrede stellte!!!

Peter N. let me know: I'm a crime person!!!!! And also he is very very rude!!!!

Recieved this call at work, questions about their account. Who Knew that 1-800's call a library :P

we have been getting call from this number ever since we got the number and they ask for BRIAN . may be this number belonged to him earlier or something. but no matter howmany times we tell them they keep calling back. we dont how to stop it.

kept calling us, and we can't answer because of hearing impaired. And if they want to talk with us, they have to dial relay service number.  If it is the scam, please do something about it!!!

This is debt collections for Chase Bank.

A woman left a message about a potential fraudulent check from my Chase Bank account.  Prior to calling the number back she told me too (877-691-8086), I called the actual Chase Bank number I had in my phone to see if it was legit.  It turns out it was legit and they were verifying a check in an amount not typical for my account.

They called me.  the man seemed more interested in the phone number than anything else

Somebody called my dear old mother and said they were from chase auto finance and asked for my phone number. They called me and said I was behind on my car loan but for the wrong type of car and I am current with chase. I called the number back and they say they are the chase switchboard, Chase says the collections people have there own phone numbers and did not show a office for this number. I am trying to talk to chase auto but nobody seems to know who to have me talk to about it. I would not answer this call if I were you.

OK, I wrote the previous about chase calling my mother and have an update.
I got a call again today and they actually left a number and ext. I then called Chase auto finance number from the chase website. I after much bs convinced them to put me on hold and call the number and extention that was left on my VM. She then connected us and determined that it was all a fluke and gave me an apology. If only they would have left a message the first time I would not have had to worry someone was out phishing to steal my identity. So this is a chase phone number. I know I could be one of them so don't believe me if you must.

IT'S A FRAUD!!  this number left a voicemail saying they were Chase and there had been suspicious activity in my account. they left a different number to call back (1800-978-8864), which I called and got an automated response saying it was "a JP Morgan Chase number was out of service".  I called THIS number (800-853-2375) back and woman immediately asked for my SSN, (not even my account number), which alarmed me.  I hung up immediately and called the Chase number on the website.  They said everything in my account was fine and there was no suspicious activity.
