- Les| 1 replyNo message left. Assume the usual worthless unwanted call. Toll Free Call has become an all too familiar name that shows up on caller ID. Toll Free Call = no obligation to answer.
- Caller: Toll Free Call
- AJReceived this call a few times on the land line. So, I decided to give them a ring back, using my Google Voice number. When someone actually answered, they identified their company as Nationwide Long Distance.
- Caller: Nationwide Long Distance
- Call type: Telemarketer
- fuzzarelly| 1 replyI have been receiving numerous calls from this number. Today I answered and, after hearing that they were a long distance company (after asking for the previous home owners of three years ago,) I told them to never ever ever call me again.

- GloThese folks claiming to be Nationwide Long Distance Service are extremely vague and run of forever with details trying to mix your thinking and to get you to switch phone companies...I suppose then they try to steel you ID after you say yes on their recording. Changing a phone bill to a lower rate in no way would take as long an ordeal as they make it!!!!! BAD Nationwide Long Distance BAD.
- Caller: So called Nationwide Long Distance
- Call type: Telemarketer
- AnnoyedFrist they said they were calling from my phone company I have my service with. He was offering a discount on local phone service and a special rate for long distance. I told him you can see what we already have and he said he can't because he wasn't the phone company and he didn't even know who he was speaking to. Well, this sounds suspicious to me. I told him we were very happy with our service and wasn't interested because we receive free long distance and everything is bundled together at a discounted rate. He stated that I wasn't interested because he wasn't the phone company. First of all he misrepresented himself so I don't know what kind of scam they are trying to pull, but they won't get any personal information from me
- Caller: Century Link

- DO.NOT.CALL.ME| 1 replyOK, for the THIRD time today these BOZOS have called me and been told each time I AM ON THE NATIONAL DO NOT CALL REGISTRY... This evening when they called again right at 5:55pm while it was dinner time with my family, the jerk on the other end of the line tells me that the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY does not apply because I did not ask him personally not to call? Does he have another thing coming... Also, they are NOT CENTURY LINK but a company trying to get your long distance from them.
- Caller: long distance scam scumbs
- DO.NOT.CALL.ME replies to DO.NOT.CALL.MEIT'S NATION WIDE LONG DISTANCE SERVICE THEY WANT YOU TO THINK THEY ARE

- Carl R| 1 replyReceived calls from this number 2 times on the 2nd call I answered and the person (Steve) said he was from Verizon and was going to lower my telephone bill $16.99 to $6.99 and .05 a minute by switching me to another carrier NLDS at no charge. He asked me several questions to confirm about my address, telephone number, date of birth only by month and year. He then said he was going to connect me another person to confirm/authorize my approval and answer any questions with only a yes or no from the next representative (Philip), which would be recorded by them to prove my acceptance of agreement and authorize the change.
After hanging up I decided to call Verizon to verify of my change to another company at a lower telephone rate. The agent at Verizon said no that there was no change nor did they call there customers to make changes by phone. Verizon told me that I could put a block on my account to stop anyone from trying to change or transfer me to any other company. They took the number that was given to me. I told them that this must be a scam of some sort, they agreed. I clicked PRANK for the call type, there should be a selection for Fraud call or Scam type of call.- Caller: NLDS
- Call type: Prank
- J.F. W. replies to Carl RGeez they left a nasty message stating " they'll burn me in a minute" i am calling the police over this, just needless.
- gemgirl92Called a few minutes ago. I answered but didn't say anything, just let the guy on the other end say "Hello? I need to speak to "so and so"...Hello?" He eventually hung up.
- pruenellaI manage a seniors apartment complex and some of my tenants fell into this crap. They had unlimited long distance and the person on the phone talked to them and next bill reflex-ed much higher costs. If you have unlimited through Verizon, then you don't need anything else.
