Numerous calls for the past several months with previously recorded messages from Caucasian American sounding female and male shills "This is the Department of Social Security. Your Social Security Account has been suspended due to unusual activity. Press 1 to speak to an "Officer"....Musak....Then an Indian male answers with an accent similar to the lemur "King Julian" in the show "The Penguins of Madagascar"..if your kids watched it in the early 2000s.. "This is Officer Fake Anglo-Irish name..."  Me "You don't sound like John Doe..by the way, you realize it is a Federal Offence to impersonate a Government Agency.." Hangs up in a hurry. These scammers are attempting ID theft of senior citizens, using 800 numbers. . Speaking from experience, two years ago the scammers stole the IRS tax refund due to the estate of my late mother-in-law.Hopefully the FTC can take action against the service providers for these criminals.
