This is the voicemail I received today(Aug 22, 2017):
"Hello my name is Lindsey Shaeffer. I'm calling in regards to some documents that require your immediate attention. We have made nimerous attempts at contacting you  (called twice that day, am & pm) about a prelegal matter that our office have been retained to handle. Um. Due to no response on this matter, we do need to, uh, come to some kind of final recommendation on the matter. We would like the final documentation signed off on today.  If you could please contact our office at 1-800-862-8065.  Again, the number is 8008628065".

Won't return call.  Didn't use our name or state supposed 'prelegal' issue. This smells of a total scam since we recenetly moved stateside.  Obviously, it's hard to have 'prelegal' issues when we haven't set foot in the US for years.

I got the exact same message. Scammers.

Received same exact message today, word for word. SCAM

I just got this same exact voicemail, word for word.  I've scammed before like this when I was in the Army, or they've tried and ended up tipping their hand because the people changed one thing they said that grabbed my attention and I call them out on it.  Doing research on these people from today and not finding anything that makes this seem legit.  Probably another scam.

I just got a call from same person but they called my work number.  I called from my work number spoke with a Dan Hurst Gen Trans Management and I questioned him he refused to give me any address but he did search my phone number that I called from and he stated that they have no business with this number.  He got upset when I told him that Lindsey Shaeffer called with bogus legal matter on a work phone number he stated it was probable a mistake.  then I stated they were scammers and he hung up on me. ..........

Just received the same phone call with the exact message what should I do?

Just got the same message, word for word. Clearly a scam.

Word for word yesterday and now today threatened to come to my home and work. They left a voice mail today.

This woman Linsey Schaefer left the exact same message twice word for word. Third one saying that she will come to my home or emplyment. Threatening , scarring people and intimidating. Wish we can make them go away.  Awful scam....

I got the exact same message yesterday, and then today I answered their call and it was a recording with the same lady's voice saying that she'd come to my house and my place of business and that if I wanted to stop this I should call back to that same number; no mention of my name or ANY information about me at all, it is surely a scam; so I just blocked the number.

i got the same exact message in yesterday morning i called them back and they said if i don't call them back they are going to pursue the case against me

Same thing happened to me.
I called back and spoke with a gentleman that said it was a matter of an old bank account from 2012, in a completely different state that I have no recollection of. He did verify my address and last 4 of my social though.
Also stated someone "could" come by my residence for the documentation.
He also told me if I could fill out a contract of a payment with them before getting off the phone it would all be dropped.
When I said I would need the contract in paper he told me "this is 2017 and everything is done electronically."
I said no thanks and that was it. I blocked the number and will see if they show up tomorrow!

I hope I didn't do any damage by saying that was my last 4 of social.
I've never dealt with anything like this and was worried/flustered.
Should've just hung up when he was getting upset with me for my baby crying on the phone.

Keep getting this call from them clearly a scam. By law debt collectors send a validation of debt letter first they don't call and they don't threaten.
