Mrs. Baker; think her name was Diane.  Talking about earning big money helping people; did  a google on this number and it brought up a newspaper; ad was for helping people purchase the "home of their dreams".
Mrs. Baker mentioned that they have helped 100's of people; not sure if she was referring to helping them earn money or get their house.

Money making spam call.

Just received a phone call from 1-614-884-1552. It's a machine/someone named Diane. She was hoping to "bless me" just like her and her husband Joe were "blessed" and wants to help me live my dreams.
(Exactly how in the hell would this [***] know what my dreams are?)

The speel went on to talk about how it's not MLM, not potions, not lotions and not pills. You don't have to recruit people, etc. She speaks this number 800-868-7801 four times throughout the call then states "I will not be calling you again. Goodbye."

Well lady/machine, you weren't supposed to call me in the first place, since I'm on and have been on the DNC since it came out and have updated mine numbers with them yearly to make sure it stays opted-out.

I'm also on the DNC list. When checking this number out with google, this website came up. Caller idea listed Joseph Baker at the above number as the source of the 800 phonecall.

The call came from 614-884-1308 to my CELL PHONE (yes, I paid to get spammed) and I got the lady's voice. The verbage what pretty much what other people have recorded.

Got the "Teresa" and "Joe" blessed crap as noted above.
I'm on the national DNC list.

Received the same call as others here from a Joe & Theresa Baker with the automated message.  We are on the DNC list.

Got the same song and dance fro Teresa and Joe. No obligation - yada yada yada. I'm on the DNC as well - make sure you file a complaint there too

number just came in on my caller ID at 614-459-8428 going on about the same thing about makings money and yadda yadda so I googled it...saw this...what is up with this?

Got the same message today from 1-800-868-7801 and i have been on the DNC list forever.

Same call Id show the 614 number and unknown as the name.  Maybe Jim has changed his number to unlisted. What is MLM?  Call also came to my cell phone.

Do Not Call List a meaningless...people will call you anyway...no protection at all

Got the same call here and I'm on the DNC list. Did you know you can file a complaint at the same place where you register for the DNC list? If you at least have the phone number, it's worth doing. Enough complaints will result in big fines for these idiots.

They said to call 800-868-7801, but called from 614-884-1554

At the top of this page is the preceeding quote. Does that mean that by "reporting" the call here, that an official complaint has been made?

I know who does and does not have my at&t cell, so I got the message from Teresa/Joe; blessing yadayada..also on DNC..friggin b.s. thanks 4 nothing. BTW, i called the 800 and 614, they both go straight to VMail. I'm in Marketing, does this crap of a biz call work? u gotta b kidding. I am glad people are "Googling" this stuff, this site helped me realize wasn't a long lost relative who left something in a will. Hey, since Teresa is doing so well, maybe I should fax you some bills - how bout an address nxt time.

This couple claims to be selling some kind of money-making scheme.  It seems to be aimed at not very bright people who are in financial straits but who have moral qualms about engaging in illegal activity.  But isn't it obvious that if the "offer" were genuine, they must be talking about recruiting front persons for some kind of illegal money laundering scheme?

However, I suspect that this call, like so many others reported here, is deceptive on a deeper level.  I predict that anyone who actually calls the number given will wind up talking to an overseas ID theft gang.  A common denominator is that these apparent "phishing calls" are apparently going only to individuals with unlisted DNC numbers, and that the number given does not correspond to the number shown by caller ID.  An increasingly common practice by ID theft gangs is to call via "voice over internet" (VOIP) and to spoof caller ID.  This means that 614-459-8428 or 614-884-1109 may not in fact be the origin of these calls; they could even originate from overseas.

The bottom line is that reply to a call like this in any way is essentially equivalent to responding to a "phishing"/"Nigerian scam" email: it can only make things worse!
