- qwerty replies to M. RNobody at 800notes is calling you! And, stop shouting.
- JessicaPHow can I have these people stop calling? They call our business line at night, usually 8 or 9pm. I am not there at the time to answer it, so they leave a message. saying "[insert name] if this is you, press 1, if this person is not associated with this number, press 2." I did send an email to the fraud department to see what they can dig up.
- Caller: US Bank
- Call type: Debt collector
- BobThis is not the correct number for USBank. I have a card and the number is one digit off. Also, that link two posts above is fake. Probably the same people trying to steal personal information. If you have any questions, call the number on your monthly statement.
- Caller: US Bank
- Mattie replies to Bob| 2 repliesThis is a legitimate US Bank number I know because this is the number for their fraud department. They are working on a fraud charge on my account and this is the number they call me from. If you would check with your local bank they will verify this.
- AnnThis phone number belongs to US Bank but they have confirmed with me that it is being spoofed. They called me yesterday to inform me that my bank information was hacked and claimed that someone had tried to purchase an American Airline ticket for $1600, and a purchase of $150 at ToysRUs. This is a SCAM! Do not give out any information to them. They asked me for my birthday, social security number, pin number and more! Hang up and call the number back to get the real US Bank customer service line to verify the claim. US Bank does not even use this as an outgoing number! These people are despicable and are taking advantage of people who want to protect their finances!
- Caller: SCAM
- NLS replies to MattieJust confirmed with my CIT. This is a spear phishing campaign. You are a fraud.
- NLSReceived an email that looked like it was from USBank. This number was listed in the email as well as a bogus link to USBank. Don't call the number or click the link. This is a confirmed spear phish. They also compromised my credit card.
- JackCID showed US BANK. Message left was a recording something about Apple Support Advisor. I don't have any dealings with US Bank and don't own any Apple products. They also left 760 203-2118, that was not the number they called from, for me to contact them. Something I certainly will not do.
POUND SAND SCAMMER!!!!!!!- Caller: Scammer.
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- Jacob| 1 replyApparently they have some tricky ways as I received a letter in the mail after (a few times of receiving calls for someone I knew who has deceased, they also quoted MY NAME to Me.) I believe they are harassing and using scare tactic people. I shall take some serious legal action on this since the bogus letter has my last four social sec numbers. My letter claims Federal Income tax withheld 5.00
- Caller: U S Bank Retail Banking - Unknown and or suspicious operation
- Anne replies to JacobWe received the same "Federal Income tax withheld 5.00," and have no clue what it could be for. The envelope only has a 1099-17 as a return address, and none of the information fits us. This is the first phone number to call that is listed, but there is NO name of a bank anywhere on the form.
- Us bank customerThis number called and left a message, once I returned the call it connected me to a usbank calling center so it seemed legit. About a hour later I got another call, so I answered and talked to a gentleman. He explained my card had been flagged for fraud out of Texas and he listed some charges they "attempted" and some of my recent charges I know I made. Seemed even more official so I started working with the guy to cancel my card, he asked me to give him a new pin for my new credit card he was sending and so I gave him a number, he said it needs to be different from my old pin number and asked me what that is. I gave him my old pin from my current credit card that we were replacing. Kicked myself afterwards thinking about how usbank always says they will not ask for pin numbers over the phone or on email. I immediately called their fraud line to check if they had a open case and sure enough they did not and I now had a charge to my account for a ATM withdrawal for 100 Dollars. THIS NUMBER IS A FRAUD DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INFORMATION RELATING TO YOUR ACCOUNT!!
- Caller: Usbank fraud line fake representative
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- Linda Kissane replies to annoyedI keep missing this call, over and over..... again It keeps asking me for a mailbox number. Who arenbi siht si tahw dna you
- LisaI got a suspicious email claiming to be US Bank about a credit card I applied for. Of course, the scammers know you didn't apply for one and want you so upset that you'll call the 866 number they provided. It says don't reply to this email, so just to have fun I hit reply. Then, a second email came stating my email had been changed in their system and to call 800-872-2657 (a different number than the first correspondence) to report it. This clearly is a scammer trying to get you to call and then you'd have to state your name and other identifying information so the supposed US Bank employee can pull up your account. Don't fall for it.

The message asked me to confirm a code number.- Caller: U.S. Banks

- JaneGot a text from “US Bank Alerts” with a code, and if I didn’t make a request for a code, call this number. Instead I called the US Bank number on my credit card and they said it is not a US Bank number,no fraud alerts on my account, etc.
