P'd off & fed up in Tennessee
The same annoying idiots that use 800-875-0620 and 877-272-4802 just sent me a fax today with the new number of 800-880-3259. I just keep sending it to the Insurance Commission, the FCC and the Regulatory Authority... share the love. Filling out forms for every one of these "transmissions" is burning me up sooo bad, I could go ballistic... I pretend that I have nothing else to do... pretend "I" get paid to squash these ba@#@*ds!!!!!!

I get at least once a week.  I called the number to be removed 866-395-8075, a prerecorded message says my number has already been removed.  Then why do I keep getting the same fax.  I then called the 800-880-3259 and told the gentleman the scenario.  He said he would have it taken care of immediately,  I replied, that is what the last person told me.  I asked him what the name of the company was, he told me United Business Insurance Association.  I told him if I received one more fax I was calling the Better Business Bureau.  No response to my remark.  We'll see what happens.

I know this was a fax and not a call, but it is just as annoying.

    Bugthemtodeath!
I'm right there with you guys.  I've called the removal numbers, called the actual numbers asking to be removed, called the FCC, etc, etc, etc, yet every morning I walk into my office and have a fresh fax with health insurance offers.

So, I've started having fun with it.  I call 800-888-3259 and let the phone sit there when they answer.  Then, when they hang up, I call back.  Again, hang up and call back.

I did find it interesting that they hide behind their faxes and reveal hardly anything about themselves ([***]), yet when I called them time after time after time with my caller id blocked, they were still able to know who I was (as they referred to me by name).

Frankly, I don't care that they know who I am or not.  My calls were solicited as soon as I received this fax.  They want me to call; so, I'm calling - and calling, and calling, and calling.

I would encourage you to do the same and bug them as much as they bug us.

Received a fax this morning too. Mine had 888-800-2199. I called and they first said they were United Medical Services at 1406 E. 90th Street, Cleveland, OH, 44106. Checking on Google maps shows a run down house in a boarded up section of town. I called again, and they claimed top be United Business Insurance Association. I will file another compaint with FTC with this info.

I did some more digging by pretending to be a customer. They are a representative of Beech Street Insurance and their website is myjoinmed.com. I got a password of "star" to get further into the site. I highly recommend calling their main line and tying up an operator for like I did for 30 minutes or more with stupid questions they have to research (like doctors with long fake names), call their number with your fax machine. File compaints with the FTC do not call list and your state's department of insurance (United Business Insurance Association and Beech Streets licenses are inactive in California, so their solicitications are illegal). Leave a complaint on Beech Street's site as well - they have access to Beech Street systems, so they are affiliated.
