They Claimed were  from Con Ed, warning service will be cut off if not make payment. I Called Con Ed which verified it was fraud.

Scam. Technician called me and threatened to cut off service. Gave me this number. Was told to Zelle or cash app $984 or they would shut off my service.

Tried to scam my 80 year old mother today. Claimed they were from Con Ed as well and said she owed $584 and if she did not paid in 30 minutes, they would cut off her service! There's a place in Hell for these kind of people SMH.

The utility shutdown scare has become a perennial winter event.

This is a scam. My parents almost fell for it. They ask for a money pak or they will lose power. I called them out on their [***] and both the guys cursed be back. They have blocked all my numbers. Pls do not fall for it.
