i received an electronic message saying that it was not a sales call, but in fact, it was regarding personal information. i called the number back and left a message with a "rick nelson" stating that i did not want to be bothered by any more solicitation calls. immediately following my phone call, "rick nelson" called back, looking for someone whom was not a resident. this was the third such call from this number, and hopefully, the last.

i just received a call from a rick nelson at this # as well. thought i'd look it up online before calling back. i just had a hunch it was something weird. did you ever find out where he was calling from or what it was about?

Got a message from this guy as well. Keeps calling me, but I refuse to call back unless he provides details. Did you every find out who this guy was? Or what he was calling about?

Just got the same thing except this time he said he was referred to me by the Pennsylvania Dept of Revenue? Seems like a scam as when I called back it went to his ext. even though I did not type it in yet.

What ever came of this situation. Seems like a scam collector to me.
Also just received a call from this number. How did you proceed?

The caller ID displayed unknown and I received a message from Rick Nelson saying was very important I return his call.  I called the number and without dialing his extenstion it went straight to his voicemail.  I did not leave a message.

Get repeated calls (tape recording) from 1 800 900 1383

i got the same phone call from rick nelson.  the call says "it is being recorded and monitored."  ricky answered when i called back.  he asked me to confirm my phone number.  instead i asked him to first tell me what this call was about.  he refused and when i insisted - he hung up.

I received a call from this number from Rick Nelson who proceeded to attempt to collect on a parking ticket that I disputed already in writing.   He proceeded to attempt to tell me that I was wrong about everything, and that by not calling a phone number on the back of the ticket I had waived my right to due process.   I informed him that due process must be signed away, it does not just vanish due to inaction.   I also informed him that the eighth amendment to the constitution of the United States reads that I am not to have any excessive fines imposed upon me.   My parking fine was $70, which was accrued because the meter counts faster than normal time as witnessed by my network time connected cell phone timer.   He informed me that the constitution states that I have to pay my parking tickets.   After I was done laughing, I informed him the constitution is there to protect me from parasites like him, and the city of Waukegan.  Watch out for this guy, he's an idiot.   I have a bunch of people who are calling him to let him know he's an idiot.

I just recievd a phone call from Rick Nelson, this is the second time, he has been calling me as well as my parents house inregards to a personal matter. He told my step mother that he was from the state of minnesota and that is all she told her. He than called my cell and left a message to call him back ASAP. I don't know if I should give him a call back or not after reading all of these messages. It seems like he keeps telling people different things just to get information out of him.

What do they want? Call all the time. Not Provided is not a good enough answer.

Someone from this number keeps calling my house asking for my ex-husband,  It would be funny but I have been divorced from this character since 1988.

Some guy named Rick Nelson just called me from 800-900-1383. I called the number back from a different line, so he wouldn't know it was me, and it went to voicemai. I am glad I did a quick Bing search to find out that other people have been scammed by this freak. I hope this guy/organization gets caught! Don't know how I got on "Rick Nelson's" calling list, but at least he didn't trick me. Whatever you do, don't give this guy and info!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

caller " I have an important personal message" .  calls at least 2 times/week either at 08:01 in the morning or at other times

I have been getting calls from "Rick Nelson" for 3 years, at least once a week....the guy IS persistent, I'll give him that.

I BELIEVE that he is one of those 3rd party debt collectors that all kinds of reputable companies sub out to collect on their behalf. I really doubt that any of these companies have any idea how rude or stalker-ish Rick actually is.

The unfortunate part is that Rick probably gets paid on commission for any debts he is able to collect. However, from the sounds of it and from my own experience (I have been making consistent payments thru an arrangement I have with a business), Rick doesn't always have current information and his tactics border on harassment.

Keep getting calls from this number. Calls all the time. Uses an auto dialer and hangs up most of the time. Asks for someone who doesn't live here or ever did. Refuses to take number off list. Says they will call back later when you says that individual has never been here. Total jerks. I hope someone hunts these parasites down and gives them their due. Refuses to identify themselves.

Just recieved a debt collection from Rick Nelson message system. Funny part is I owe no debt.
