I got a call from "1 000 000-0000" but the message gave this number to call them back with very little info about who they were.

Received numerous calls from 000-000-0000 with no message. Today, 000-000-0000 called again and left a message they were the American Medical Response and it was extremely important that I call back at   800-913-9106 between 9am and 5pm.. Didn't sound right ..what's with the 000- number?

I can't block their calls and they call 4-5 times a day with no message left....finally left one message with the number 800 913-9106.  

Same pattern.  Numerous calls from 000 000-0000 and now after caller ID gave the same 000 caller info., a message was left to call regarding 'transportation services for American Medical Response' with 800 919-9106 number with reference code RTI.  Since no services have been rendered, must be a scam !!!

Reputable outfits don't hide out their phone number.  They don't call and insist you call them without telling you why. They don't tell you to call back and then use some reference number.  They will use your name.

If they had a valid reason to contact me, and a valid reason that they are insisting that I call them, well, maybe I'd call.  Maybe.  An outfit not showing their number is a huge, huge red flag.

I don't trust these idiots.  I'm not going to waste my time calling them and waiting on some sales pitch, proving to them that they've reached a phone number that is "live" IE a hot contact that they can harass again and again.  I hope they die in a fire.

I think this call may be regarding an ambulance service.  Did you call 911 from your telephone recently?
I got the same call this week with the same message.  I called back & went through the usual recorded messages & decided it was taking up too much of my time.  I think they were looking for insurance information regarding the ambulance service I had received on 1/18.  I had mailed it to them earlier in the week & they probably had not received it yet.

I got a call from 1-800-913-9106 but refused to answer it. No message left either.

Scammer - do not answer - block caller.   American Medical Response = Scamming B.S.

American Medical Response - Ambulance Company

Not a scam, but perhaps they have a wrong number if you haven't used an ambulance service or been listed as a responsible party for somebody that has had ambulance service

I called this number using *67 so that my number wouldn't show up. It really was American Medical Response. The woman on the phone told me, after I told her that no one in our family had used their ambulance service, that they had probably dialed my number incorrectly. She didn't try to sell me anything or ask for any other information. I think it really is AMR.

NEVER CALLED 911 OR USED AN AMBULANCE SERVICE.  I THINK IT'S A SCAM.

This is an ambulance service.  I was taken to the hospital a while back and got a 1,200 bill for transport.  They got the 80% from insurance, and this must be the rest.  Why they leave a threatening message, without identifying themselves, beats me.

This is American Medical Response. They call me about doing a follow-up survey. I have told them I don't want. They keep bugging me. Am blocking them now.

Called several times, didn't leave a message. I did use their ambulance service recently, so the call was probably concerning this service, but since they didn't leave  a message I didn't return their call.

They sent me a letter with this phone number saying I owed them money for an ambulance ride that I never took. Apparently they found my address "ON THE INTERNET" (!) and the person said that they probably were trying to find a person with the same name. What kind of company tries to track down people who owe them money in such a negligent and annoying way? A [***] one. Might as well call them collections

Same thing happened to me. The letter said that I was taken to a hospital in Connecticut, but I've never been in Connecticut. I also suspect they got my name and address from the Internet. Funny thing though, I live in the south, not the north. I didn't even call them because I suspect this could possibly be a scam.

Received a call from this number. It was Patient Business Services regarding an outstanding balance owed from an ambulance trip to the hospital. Customer service was wonderful and I paid my bill.

The phone number 800-913-9106 belongs to American Medical Response (AMR) from Akron, OH. Their main office in Akron, OH confirmed that. Unfortunately, when I talked to their employee who answered their main office number she didn't want me to ask questions, and just told me their Accounting department's number is the 800-913-9106 and hung up immediately. I told them they were sending me invoices that aren't for me. I didn't get the service, and as another reviewer posted AMR was also sending invoices to my home when no one got a service from them. What ever American Medical Response is doing by sending invoices and calling daily trying to collect money from people who didn't get a service from them stop the phone calls. I have reported your company, and anyone else who have experienced similar situation report it to your local police. As someone who I spoke to that works with the FBI your calls are also harassment. I didn't get the service, so stop the calls.

Sorry, this phone number look-up site has nothing to do with your caller so they will never get your message.
However, if you have an address for them (presumably on the invoices you've received) I would recommend sending them a Cease and Desist letter via certified mail. After you receive the signed card stating they received your letter, if they continue to call you can sue them.
