Robocall with obvious text-to-speech announcement claiming they are Cathy Jackson from Microsoft Refund Department and that I paid for my computer technical support few months ago (sic) and calling to refund my money as the company has been ordered to close and to call some illegible number.

I just received the same RoboCall. Since I do not pick up on any unidentified or 800 calls, a partial robo message was left on the voicemail. I also suspect it is a scam.

I just received this exact caller  including to call the illegitimate phone number.  If Microsoft closed it would be headline news

A message was left on our voicemail and I called back the number out of curiosity.  The person who answered the phone answered like it was their personal home line with a "Hello".  I started to say that I was returning a call from the number and then the person interrupts me with "You have a refund from Microsoft".  I told him that I haven't made any Microsoft purchases and he hung up on me.  Definite scam.
