- Dan replies to 800-921-8101| 3 repliesThis is the third time these [***] have called. I have been in touch with Frontier, who is also my telephone service provider, after each occurance, stating I do not wish to be contacted with sales calls. What do I need to do to get them to cease?
- dyno dave| 2 repliesthese guys are starting to call and hang up when we answer. They used to call in the summer and fall months until we called the police. Since they are starting their bull-[***] again, it's time to call the police again. The police said that's what we should do to report harassing phone calls. Eventually, we can sue them in small claims court for harassment. You can too. Just call the police. See you in "The People's Court".
- Caller: Frontier Communications
- Bobbie replies to DanI have call blocking through Frontier. I used the service to block the
number. I hope it works. - Quit already! We keep getting calls from this number too. They have been calling every day or at least 3 times a week. Never leave a message, and when I do answer, no one is there so I hang up...or after awhile after I say Hello a few times then they come on and I hang up. It is quite irritating. The caller id only shows "Toll Free Number".

Please do not reply to this e-mail. If you have questions about the terms and conditions of this special offer, please call Frontier Customer Service at 1-800-921-8101. - Stealthnv replies to Irritated by scamsI too received this e-mail after signing up for DSL. It's a link to the the terms of service, and you provide your "electronic signature" to agree to them. Which in my case was a two year commitment for 19.99 first year and 29.99 year two plus modem rental. I called customer service, and after talking to them I "signed" the agreement. It's what I agreed to when I called them to start my DSL, and this eliminates them having to send you a paper contract.
- Jenn replies to dyno daveThis # is just Frontier's residential support #. If you call it back please just hit 1, it'll take you ro Customer service. Ask for a supervisor and let it fly. Eventually they'll get the picture.
( I used to be Tech support, I get the angry callbacks all the time because the number routes to us if you hit 2. ) - techtx1686 replies to Irritated by scamsIf you just signed up for DSL you get that e-mail. Its to agree to the Terms of Service, if you're worried the 1-800-921-8101 will take you to residential Customer Service, Line Repair, or Tech support.
I worked in Tech support, so never hesitate to call or look up the local office and bug them :). (Though Customer Service can be rather annoying. Go to Tech support) - Bret replies to DanJust so you know, all cell phone companies, regular phone companies and television providers can sell your information unless you provide a written notice to them that they are not allowed to sell your information.
- smartowlWhen I picked up it was a recording so I could not refute the call or be removed from the listing. I am angry that we are getting messages from 1-800-921-8101 on one of our MOBILE PHONES when we are signed up on the Federal Do Not Call list!!
- lv`Called, number only in caller id, didn't leave msg.

- Dutch4/22/09 @ 4:24 PM PDT, call came in from 800-921-8101, but no-one would speak to me. I called the number back as I have caller ID and got Frontier. They gave me a big fat run around about it not being them that is calling. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that I could not. I was told to hit *82 on my phone to trace the call. That is what I will do if it happens again. I was also told to file a police report if when the call is traced, it goes back to Frontier. It seems to me these people should be doing something about this from their end as I am not a happy camper and I want this [***] stopped immediately.
