This is one of Comcast's internal tech support numbers.  

This is not a comcast phone number. It is a scam. Be very careful! Do not give any details as they will ask you about your credit card number. They will say they will charge only $3,00 handle fee for giving you a $100 gift card. Bull [***]

I called this number for tech support and the first thing they said was I was the lucky winner of$100.00 gift card. They did ask for my credit card number and I gave it, wish I'd read this. Took precautionary actions though.

I called and they asked me to verify how i spell my name on my social!

Please be careful when calling the REAL Comcast contact number of 1-800-934-6489. I accidentally transposed two numbers and dialed 1-800-943-6489 and reached a "Solution Center" that asked for my name which I gave them. They immediately asked if I would like to save money by switching to ATT. I asked if I had reached Comcast/Xfinity and the person just said you have reached the solution center then asked to verify my SS number. I hung up and checked the number I called. I dialed wrong. I do believe that this is a scam. BE CAREFUL!

Note the Comcast number is 800-934 instead of 800-943, and the 943 here number is a scam. I  tried to call Comcast but dialed the wrong number 800-943, and it was totally a disaster.
