Nobody answers when I pick up.

This showed up on my credit card bill under AllAmerDir and I have no idea what that is, but intend to find out before I hand over the $104.97.

I just found out that belongs to a TV satellite provider. Mine showed over $200 and I had no idea until I asked the wife what we did. AllAmerdir boils down to http://www.callnps.com/program.htm  Might see if you made a purchase lately through them?  Good luck!

I called the phone number on the bill (800-950-6900) and got a recording stating who they are and what they do, then I pressed 1 at the prompt and got a friendly person who explained things.  I just called today because the extra channels we purchased disappeared when I replaced the "Smart Card" in my satellite receiver, at the request of Dish Network.  AllAmerDir needs to be notified of the new numbers so they can send the channels to the new codes.

Allamerdir is All American Direct. Its what you sign up for if dish network doesnt provide all channels you want. allamerdir provides some channels and they can put on your dish network.  I just found that out. we signed up to get nbc and some others.

$221.39 was charged to my credit card on 3/28/09 for "services" of whatever type are unknown to me. This was done without my knowledge.

You make reference to subscribing to "dish"; do you mean Dish as opposed to Direct?

BE CAREFUL... Yes, all american direct does provide some channels that are not available on dish network.. How I found that in my case, Dish network evolved and now have the channels that I am paying All American Direct for.. But once you sign up with all american direct, they will charge you for ever, and if you try to cancel their service, they will tell you anything to get you off the telephone, but will keep right on charging your credit card...
