- Caller: American Home Mortgage Service
- Call type: Unwanted
- annoyed in oregon| 1 replyThis is from AHMSI. Since Citi Residential turned our mortgage over to them, the calls have been incessant. Finally, I called the number on the paperwork we received in the mail and informed them that, as of yesterday, we were looking to refi with someone else. That got their attention quick! Apology's were issued and today its been quiet.

- a replies to answeredhe's right - it's AHMS
- sam replies to annoyed in oregondo you have that number on your paperwork?
I do not even have them and they call my 13 year old daughter several times a day with the recording and I never can get past the "last four digits of SSN#". I am getting really tired of her having those calls. - deretha jonescall and hang up
- martinj replies to stephwhen you get calls like that.... just hit ### and *** as many times as you can this will kill the call as it effects their phone reply software
- I HATE AHMSI replies to steph| 3 repliesThe call is from AHMSI they keep calling me and have cashed my check! My payment is not behind, no apologies other than it is coming up in their system that they have not received my payment. (The money was deducted from my account last week!) I have 3 hang up calls on my voicemail from them. Nothing but problems since my mortgage was sold to them by Citi. We are going to refinance through Wells Fargo.
- americanheart replies to stephthey called me also and instead of calling them back on the number they left, i called AHMS since i knew i had no problems with my mortgage. AHMS said that they did not call. so, i suggest that you try the same and see what AHMS says. sometimes these are frauds trying to get your SSN.
- BOBI am a customer of American Home Mortgage Service by default. My home loan was evidently sold to them by Citi. Payment is due on the first of each month and considered late payment after the 16th of the month. The phone calls begin around the 3rd of the month with my phone ringing 5 or 6 times a day to tell me my payment is late.
I complained to them for filling the 'Voice mail' of my phone since my doctor had been attempting to contact me. According to them, they may legally begin and continue those calls anytime after the first of the month.
They seem to make it as difficult as possible to speak with them making their 'customer service' more like 'dial-a-joke'.- Caller: American Home Mortgage Service

- BRANDIMY MORTGAGE WAS ALSO SOLD TO AHMSI, AND I HATE IT! THEY DO START CALLING RIGHT AFTER THE FIRST! THEY WILL KEEP CALLING OVER AND OVER
- Caller: AMHSI
- JI paid my June payment on the 26th of May, therefor I paid ahead by a few days and today, June 17th, I received two phone calls within a 20 minute window from AHMS requesting the last four digits of my SS#. The only thing I can think of is: 1) their system is messed up or 2) the call is fraud trying to collect SS information. I entered ###, and they hung up on me. Sounds like fraud to me!! Don't give them any information! If it was really AHMS collecting on a late payment, don't you think they would want the money enough to actually put a real person on the other line? By the way, I have received many legit fraudulant calls on my cell phone lately, requesting my credit card # or my SS#...

- Chris Peacock| 2 repliesYes, it is my 'by default' mortgage company that keeps calling, not leaving a message on my machine. I don't think it's a good idea to enter the last 4 digits of my SS# to a random phone call, unidentifiable by caller ID as 'Unavailable'. So, I pulled out the old statement and called them.(Googled the number beforehand.) Jumped through the security hoops, and spoke to a rep named Crystal. She says "It is illegal for our company(AHMSI - American Home Mortgage Servicing Inc.) to leave a message on a machine!...Unless the greeting message on your answering machine says the name(full name) of the person they are trying to call." I told her that that was a horrible way to do business! I don't entirely believe her either. Anybody have the truth to this? The actual law...?
Now, they only incessantly call if I have a past due amount with them. In a previous case I owed more money due to an increased amount owed for taxes to be held in my escrow account with them. The second time was because I though I changed my automatic bank payments to reflect this small additional amount to my monthly mortgage payment, but it didn't work/take. So, I am glad that I finally called them back after researching their calling number and figuring out it was them(AHMSI) again.
I wonder how many other people started off with a mortgage company that swore up and down that they would not turn around and sell your mortgage at the first chance they got. AMHSI is my third mortgage company, since the economic fall of 2008, at the end of the Bush tyranny. Seems like the U.S.(mostly the middle and lower economic classes) were pushed back 15 - 20 years. My life did not get better under the Bush regime(and therefore after), how about you?- Caller: American Home Mortgage Servicing Inc.
- Call type: Debt collector
- G W Bush replies to Chris PeacockSooooo how has that CHANGE worked out for you?
- Diane ChambersThey call my cell phone every day, even on weekends, It's an automated call, lokking for someone other than me. Very frustrating & disruptive.
