Robocall from "Merchant Services Partners" in regard to my merchant account, warning me about recent regulatory changes.

Of course I'm not a business, and I don't have a merchant account with Merchant Services Partners or anyone else.  May be a scam targeting businesses?

Call from "Merchant Services Partners calling in regards to your merchant account, recent issue regulations may change the way you process credit card payments. You could incurring Additional Liability and experience an increase in processing costs.

Yes, it's a scam. Do not answer their calls.

Not happy! Got a call at 10pm from this number! It woke my five year old up!

Called our office at 7:38 at night -- why would you call when a business is likely not open? Caller ID listed the number and "800 Service ". Partial voice mail left indicated we should call them back at the same number.

Called our office at 7:05 pm - autocall, left a partial message to call back this number.  No other information was provided.  Since the call was after "normal" business hours, I would have to think it's some type of scam.

Calling at 7:30 at night.  I don't answer calls I do not know.

robo call voice mail left at 7:30 pm to a business - since it was a partial the only information heard started with - "could incur additional liability and incur additional cost and call them back from 8 am to 5 pm central standard time to 800-966-0292

Roboscam about a merchant account, which I dont have.

Call all the time!!!! My merchant account is not with them and my company does not call they notify by mail.

Called at 9:30pm. No one there. I stayed on the line to see if there was a recording but nothing. Then the call dropped.

Received a call at 9:25 pm with this number and no one on the line. Very irritating.

Rec'd junk call from 800-966-0292 - [9:37pm] - did not answer, no msg left. I was hacked-off at this hour of the night. Reverse Lookup provided Merchant Services scam.

Since the Chinese are exporting everything, we should import all these telemarketing dirtbags, have the Chinese put them up on a firing wall, and shoot to kill every one of them!

Called at 9:30pm!  Minute I answered they hung up.  We should be able to get instant compensation for annoyances like this. Jacka$$e$!!

I got a voice message from a different phone number (1-800-714-8898) saying it was an automated call from "merchant services partners to remind you that the deadline for [something that sounded like E.M.P. -?] updates has passed" and that "the fraud liability has now shifted to you, the merchant.  If you haven’t obtained the proper equipment, or made the necessary updates" there could be "high out of pocket equipment costs, and a possible increase in processing rates charged per part".  Someone else said it - it's probably a scam targeting small businesses.  I haven't called the number.  The message did mention that I had already been notified, and reading through these other comments, I do seem to remember they called before and I think the message was about credit card processing, but now this one is about equipment.  Weird.
