SCAM CALL! Recording from "CPE" stating my electricity would be cut off in 30 minutes if I didn't call another 800 number. Yea. NO! CPE stands for Customer Premise Equipment. It's not a company name. The gullible may be taken in by this though. DEFINITE SCAM!!!

Claimed to be CPE and power would be cut off in 30 minutes if I didn't call the the number they gave. This is the second call like this today. Never heard of CPE. Not our provider, so obvious
scam to get personal info. When in doubt on this kind of call...always call your provider directly at the number that appears on your statement. Do not use the number that the caller gives you!!

This a$$hat called again today, same recording, your electricity will be cut off in 30 minutes blah blah. SCAM!

They called our office number, claiming that we allegedly have impending service disruption within 30 minutes. Not a PSE&G customer. Not in this area. Funny.

And the woman (recorded) repeats three times. Yes, THREE times to call this specific number to extort money *delinquent amount* 800-617-1080. Of course, no reason to try that number.
