MetLife wants to sell you life insurance - My experience is that they are too pricey.

The first call was yesterday  at 7 p.m. asking for a Mr. Pringle. The woman left a voice mail! They have called 4 times since then. Obviously I did not contact Metlife by email or any other way! The caller is not leaving messages since the first time.

MetLife called me from this number and claimed I had requested the call on their website.  They had a lot of personal info.  Apparently someone sold my info to them.  When I said I did not visit their site or request a call, they used the info they had to justify their call asking why they had all this info if I had not filled out info on their site.

I called back a few times and got different people trying to justify their actions.  Most common claim was that the data they got from a 3rd party was 'mislabeled' as coming from their website.  Info they had - name, address, both home and cell phone, age.

Sent email asking for a quote and told them to email info, and not to call.  I've received 6 calls from them in the past 2 days.

I sent an email in for a quote and I received a very pushy call from a nasty man named David D (?).  There are way too many places to buy life insurance from to deal with rudeness.  MetLife should get anger management courses for their agents.  Sheesh.

This is Metlife's number.  I got a quick quote on their website and did not request for anyone to contact me.  I've received 20 calls in 5 days and 7 messages all from different people.

I went on-line shopping for Life Insurance quotes. Metlife was way OVERPRICED. Not even five minutes after getting a quote on-line they start calling my phone. If you are going to get a quote from them provide them with a fake number!

Yes, it kind of is MetLife, but it is really TZ Insurance Solutions, LLC. - http://www.tzinsurance.com/ - and they are sleazy.
Don't call them back from your number nor give your number too them if you do call. Don't try to have your number removed.
The message you received, no matter how personal it seemed, was a robocall and your call will create more calls.

They are a re-seller for Metlife.  If you put your personal info into any "free insurance quote" website, these guys can get that info to try to sell you Metlife insurance.  They blatantly lied to me about getting a copy of the policy before I paid and about paying on my schedule. I also dealt with the "real" Metlife who were 100% professional, not pushy, and they told me to BLOCK ANY CALLS from these idiots.  Metlife can't stop TZ Insurance because they aren't doing anything illegal, but they sure are making Metlife look bad.

    Really?
The third party's are tho companies that generate the leads and sale them to companies that now have full legal permission o contact you because you have left your details online. If a third party marketing company proclaimed to be Metlife it would absolutley be illegal. If the calls come just answer and tell them that you're not interested. If you ask for a DNC list then it could potential take a little while to get conveyed, though marked as such immediately.
