- wonderlandThey call once in a while, they have called me a few times random. They leave a message, they get my name correct, but I dont return the calls. I have school loans, that I always pay on time, so no need to call them back, specially if they are asking for personal information. My advice is to not answer, if you have debt but make your payments on time, and if your checking account has no fraudulent activity you are clear.

- Jack MaloneCall received at 5:00 PM EST.11/20/2013. Caller identified himself as calling for CPI Security and asked if I was familiar with their company. I told him I was but had never done business with them nor would I do business with them and he shouldn't be calling my number and to take it off his calling list, and then filed a complaint with DONOTCALL.GOV (which is useless but I did it anyway).

- RegI keep getting calls from multiple numbers that leaves this number 800-979-8917 as the number to call back. It is a prerecorded message from a woman named Nicole claiming that I have failed to return a college text book. She says the exact same thing every single time.
I did attend grad school in 2017-2019 but I bought all of my books, never rented any. She also tells me I can go online to paymybook.com to pay my "debt". I block the number the call comes from and then they call back a few days later from a different number. This has been going on for several months. At first the calls were from 702 and 904 area codes but now they are spoofing from 828 area code.- Caller: FDR Services

- PeppyI get phone calls every week. Recorded messages from a woman "Michelle" she says that she is calling because she is a debt collector! the phone number she was calling from is 949-245-0393. Everytime I get a phone call it rings once and goes straight to VM. They change their numbers many times and once I noticed they started to use the same number so I fixed it to go straight to vm and the following week they used a different number to call. The recorded message from "Michelle" says she is with FDR debt collection services and she went on and on and gives a website to pay my debt or to call the 800-979-8917 to pay my debt! What a bunch of Crock!
First of all if they were authentic the person would be a Live Person not a recorded message! Second they wouldn't change their phone number each time they call. Third of all I get my Credit History checked every year and if something was wrong my Bank would notify me! This year I got more money added to my CC for Use and my bank is not going to do that if they found something wrong! Beware and do not pay anything to these fraudulent people! Check your Credit History first and go that route first or contact one of those Lawyers to have these Harassment people Stopped!- Caller: FDR Services!

- Tiffany GorskiI get this number calling me like once every three days, saying they are debt collectors, directing me to PayMyBalance.com to make my payment, it says it's from a service I used for like a month and then cancelled my subscription. Asking for $29.95. I think "Michelle" has called me 5 times in a row now, before that it was "Patrick".

- Saika| 1 replyCalls my work phone about text book rentals saying I can pay my debt at paymybook.com. There were many voicemails from this # left on my work phone before it was even given to me and they continue to call. Seems like scammers masquerading as a "debt collector" and they are incredibly annoying. They often call just to let the phone ring once then immediately hang up and leave a voicemail.

- Saika replies to SaikaForgot to mention the name of the person calling is always "Michelle" even though I've noticed that her voice sounds like a different person lately.

- CeceThis number is definitely a scam number. They claimed I had debt for them for a text book even though I do not rent my textbooks . Don’t answer and block the number

- MLupe called from this number asking for my son. When questioned what about she stated in broken English it was confidential. Lupe claims my son owes unreturned college book fees. She was willing to take a credit or debit card number. We've never received any late fee notices from the college or emails as she claimed. RED FLAG THIS NUMBER!!!

- ValarieI received a call from someone claiming to be Valarie, funny right, stating she is with FCR Collection Services. I don't have any collections on my credit report and don't know of anything that I am behind on. I was going to pick it up because I am a realtor but the phone rang once then went to voicemail.

- Scammers suckBeen getting calls from them for awhile, it's funny because I have stellar credit and credit report not showing any issues. Probably time to pay that app that messes with them by calling them and using AI to trick them into wasting their time talking to a bot lol
