Frequent calls, generally no message. One message was left with only call center noise in the background.

when I answered they didn't say anything, so I called them back and said it was the IRS, saying I was in some trouble with the IRS, I kept saying No I"m not !  and they guy repeatley  said yes you are then he hung up me

They answer the phone IRS. When you ask them to take you off of the calling list they swear at you and then hang up. You call back talk to a different rep you get the same thing

Message left with fuzzy call center noise at the beginning so you cannot tell what they are saying and at the end its suddenly clear and talks about moving forward with a lawsuit unless I contact them. Scam.

IRS Scam

I returned the call b/c the vm they left was cut off.  Suggested I had pending 'legal action'.  They answered as the IRS.  No reference number was left on my vm.  Calling back a lot of noise in the background.   I just decided that if it was important enough they'd call back.

Scammer-"call this number"

Stated IRS, told them they weren’t and he swore at me and hung up. I called back numerous times and spoke to numerous males and female with accents. After talking to “Chris Malone”, he promptly said he was FBI and located in IRS Headquarters. When I questioned him further, he said he wants to give me money... After keeping him on the line wasting his time, he hung up.

Claims to be IRS and says there is a lawsuit against me.  That would require serving me with papers or sending a certified letter.  Get a real job already!

Received a voicemail saying that I had a warrant out for my arrest because my taxes was filed incorrectly and that I needed to call them back. I called them and a man with a foreign accent says that if I hang up they will send the sheriff to my address and take me to jail! Called the IRS myself and confirmed it was a scam! Don’t call SCAM!!!!

Recording started "This is the IRS. . ." I hung up - obvious scam.

The company left a vm and I called back.  Said I was going to have the sheriff knocking on my door because I committed fraud with the IRS. They said they sent certified letter to me.  Oh yeah??   What was the tracking number and who signed for it.  He could not provide the information.  I told him this was b.s. and he cursed right back at me.  I told him that an IRS rep would not repeat that kind of language. Conversation continued him insisting fraud.  I hung up on him because I know it is a scam.  They called back five minutes later and left another recording.
