Called saying they were looking to renew out QuickBooks account. Guy left his name, number and extension (433) but it sounded fishy so I called QB. That isn't one of their numbers and they do not make phone calls regarding renewals.

Guy called twice now, said his name was Allen, stating that he was with Quickbooks and that I needed to give him my Credit Card information to update the system.  I called Quckbooks and they DO NOT call people to ask for this information.

A guy named Charlie (with a foreign accent) called my office and stated that I needed to give him updated credit card information to pay our annual $300.00 maintenance fee for Quickbooks.  I questioned that I don't ever recall paying an annual fee.  I asked him when was the last time I paid the fee and he said he would have to check with his billing team, but needed my information.  I, of course, didn't give it to him.  Per the experiences above, it appears that the call is bogus.

The QuickBooks fraud call are still happening and it is 8/20/2019.  same number with extension 198.  They are telling us that our annual services are not renewing.  We do not have any annual services with QB?  Definite scam.
