On July 24th I got a call from this number. I had no time to answer. Caller ID said: "Unavailable".

On August 3rd at 1:45, I received a call from this number on my cell phone, not recognizing it, I did not pick up.

This number keeps calling to my house, but every time I pick up the phone I hear the dial tone... or I hear my neighbors voice saying "hello" too (And it is not their number) Says on the caller ID "Out of Area"

Rec'd strange ph call, caller ID 800-980-4902 - did NOT answer. Checked voice jail afterwards, and [predictably] no message. Dirt bags that call, and then don't leave who they are, and what they want. Scum-bags! Call came in at 9:40 am, C.S.T., and I posted a bit later, when I had a chance after checking voice jail.

I got the message the number has changed to 1-800-288-2020.

It is AT&T. It's a number that calls to let you know the service change you requested has been completed.

At least, that's what the number is today.... LOL

4/22/09 800-980-4902, did not answer & will not.  Based on above comments, I did have a phone number change.  If this is what AT&T does by not identifying themselves, as we have seen in their wiretapping, they are complicit in other phone calls of similer nature as well.
