Caller ID says 800 service. foreign voice told me that I had virus on my computer ,asked me to push a couple of different keys on my keyboard. when he finally figured out that I was just leading him along he called me a son of a [***] and  said he was going to call me back later and have me arrested.  told him he's not even in the same country as I am.  scammer scammer scammer!!!

I just got a call from the same number.  I was on my computer when the call came in.  I  always have 800notes.com open in a browser session.  When a number rings that I do   not know comes in, I can check it Immediately.  With your post, I was able to get this scam number blocked before the seventh ring when my answering machine kicks in.

Called about computer having Microsoft problem. English accent. Scam

Just got the call at 1:35 PM, Saturday.  First sound was that of a boiler room operation, then the heavily accented conman came on: "I'm calling from the Windows Technical Department.  Your computer is downloading malware...."  I asked, "So, what should I do about it?"  The conman asked me to turn on my computer...(he was going to do a remote access...)

The caller ID on my cell phone showed "unknown."  (no city, state, or business listing).

In blocking the number, I've got to be upwards of a couple hundred of these garbage calls -- don't know how many the  phone will do...

I got a call from this no 800 980 8332 and said he was from Windows Technical support . He said that my computer has been downloading malware and viruses for the past 3 weeks . And he said open your computer and I will show you what to do . When I asked him for his identity he does not want to go further . His accent is like from India accent . And , he was very commanding the way he talks . When I told him that I will report his no. he hang up . He said his name is Victor .
